Morning. I too reviewed the Guerrilla, and came to pretty much the same conclusions, oh and I am doing my utmost to try to get one. Changing the screen to black, and altering the camera frame rate to either 25 or 50fps helps, certainly the black screen and 50 fps gets rid of the flicker, though sometimes it does go completely black to the viewer. As for vibes, I honestly couldn’t feel any….I ragged it on the lanes and took it up a section of motorway, and found it to be buttery smooth (my demo bike was one of those used on the RE press release in Spain, so thrashed from day one). I have ridden much more expensive bikes, that definitely have vibes, but no-one moans about them 😉. Nice review mate 👍

Offset Dash actually does make sense as you can put your phone (or any other device) on the left side of the handlebar without impairing the viewing of the dash. Even though you have phone connectivity, Same for the offset fuel cap, you can put a tank bag, and it won't be in your way when refueling. great review as always. Keep it up!

One review mentioned a concern about the mud splashing from the rear and the ineffectiveness of the mudguard but there is an additional mudguard I saw on one photo. I don’t know if it’s an RE accessory …

Seriously nice bike. I think RE are going to sell masses of these with the OTHERS scrambling to catch up. The mid range really is the future of motorcycles. Would you go back to a monster you can't use (or move around at 67). Think the offset fuel cap is a huge filling advantage because you are pumping fuel into the largest area of the tank and not bouncing it off the centre tunnel. Yep, love it.

I’m currently riding a Honda Grom and waiting to do my Mod 2 in November. I mainly ride for commuting and the occasional ride out so I don’t need anything too powerful. Based on the reviews I’ve watched, I think the Guerrilla might be the one to pick as my next bike…

About sharp back break In India it's very common to have strong rear break since childhood we're taught to use rear break first then front in bycycle and this continues in bikes as well

Eyup nick, Good review,I took one out last Friday for a test ride,I loved it much like you liked the off set speddo,the filler tank,and what sold it for me were the rear lights/indicators. Testing a triumph speed 400 this Friday torn between the two. Will be px NC I think

Hi Tony good to hear from you. the 400 triumph I’ve heard some stories about cam chain issues. Could be the minority, have a try though see what you think. My money would go to royal Enfield all day long.

I took the same colour bike out for a 15 minute blast at local bike n8ght last week, need longer test to decide of course but it is nice, fitted new chain n sprockets on my monkey and its like a different animal, love it, so no rush to trade this year.

@@nicksepisode 2019 4 speed went down 1 tooth on the front but fitted top of the range d.i.d 428 pitch chain and kitaco sprockets, different sprockets on 5 speeds though.

You HAD a nice bike - the Interceptor. Interceptor is better, easier to maintain, more powerful. Only the seat was, little sketchy, but it wasn't an unsolvable issue. if you think Royal now - why not the Shotgun ? - it is the BEST bike they have today ! It has a rack for the top-box ( under the "passenger seat" ). It looks much better than this thing..... And - since people don't just lining up to buy them - you, probably, can strike a good deal, on a new one - from last year....

Yeah the shotgun is a really really nice bike. So is the interceptor, I sold that to fund a camper van conversion, and now I’m here again

Hi Nick, I've test rode this bike, Very good but, If your considering getting a Guerrilla 450 Why didn't you just keep your Interceptor? I have an Interceptor, And as good as the Guerrilla is, It simply isn't as good as my Interceptor,? I found the Guerrilla wanting at low revs sadly, but good as the revs were higher, I also own a Royal Enfield Hunter, And although it only has 20 horse power, I found that my Hunter feels like it has more useable torque all the way up to top speed, I personally like my Hunter better than the Guerrilla, If i want more speed , I've just got my lovely Interceptor, I might add, Both my Interceptor and Hunter have fuel X Lite Systems on, Plus DNA Air Filters and after market Silencer's, Just thought you'd like to hear my thoughts on the subject Nick, Cheers Paul 👍

Hi Paul. I sold the interceptor because I wanted to fund a camper van build. Nothing wrong with the bike I love them. But I like to mix things up and have a change. It’s good for me and good for making more videos as part of riding and editing videos is my hobby.

Lots to like about the bike in your review mate, slightly disagree about the display would love a pair of clocks as if you could configure through software the option would enable maps oil temp monitoring all sorts. Other than that to do 3 days on my commute 210miles is a bare minimum before low fuel warning, colours are a matter of taste but I like playa, for me a touring screen accessory would be on my wish list along with heated grips maybe hand guards. But as you say the warranty is epic for a bike at this cost what's the mpg like? Good review if a bit glowing.

This bike is marked as 81mpg (uk gallon) as mentioned in the video, maybe the himmy would be better if you’re doing that sort of mileage. Accessories are always being added to this model so a tall screen would be easy to get hold of. Plenty of colour options available to satisfy different tastes. I mainly review bikes I’m interested in so they mainly come across glowing. The Svartpilen is the only exception, that’s not too glowing.

To stop the flickering, you'll need some ND-filters for the camera. And if you buy this, maybe you can do 2 oil-changes before the 650 scrambler comes out next year. 🤫

I think you can also change the fps settings of camera to get rid of flickering.

@@Futuremodi There's too much light hitting the sensor, so the shutter has to close faster. You can clearly see it in the video when he's riding with the sun on his back, that the flickering stops, and returns when the sun comes to his side or front again. The fps is the same, and the aperture is the same. The camera only compensates the shutter speed. He needs an ND-filter to reduce the amount of light entering the camera, then the shutter stays open longer, and the flickering will stop.

I think a lot of reviewers were given brand new models to ride hence the complaints of vibes. I've seen 2 YTers who rode the Guerrilla a second time. They both said it was much better after being run in. How did it feel up against the Honda 500 twins yuve ridden?

The 500 honda twin engine is great but it doesn’t stand out, I like thumper. The low down torque with a long piston stroke is what makes this stand out over the Honda

I had a test ride one day ago. I was impressed about the motor, the colour, the brakes and the built quality. But I'm concerned about the seat high of 780 mm, cause I'm a tall person. The test ride wasn't that long (about 35 minutes). Could You tell me, how You felt on the bike? And how tall You are? - That would help me Cause I consider to get rid off my Yamaha XSR, which has a 820 mm seat high.

I’m a shorty, 5ft9, I didn’t feel cramped, I ride a monkey bike and that’s fine. I wouldn’t say you’d be too tall for it. Try the himmy possibly as it’s higher ?

@@nicksepisode - Hi, I'm 6 ft. tall. I felt a little too deep in / inside the bike. On some bikes it's okay to sit in ... but on some You sit on the (top of the) bike; and it feels right. - This point is a little annoying me while riding the Guerilla! I also testet the svartpillen 401 (2024 modell), the old vitpillen 401 (2023 modell), - I'm totally cramped. I also tested the triumph speed 400 and the scrambler x400 - on both I feelt better, enough room and a good feeling "sitting on" the bike. I've not decided finally. You ment the himmy ... You mean the new Himalayan 450, which has the same engine plattform as the guerilla ? I think I try it. Thank You for the fast answer and Your help.

I know RE are saying the Guerrilla is a roadster but it does have a scrambler flavour to it with it’s long travel suspension (compared to a normal road bike), tyres and riding position . I took one for a test ride and liked it that much that I’m considering trading in my T120 black for one. The Guerrilla was sublime on bumpy B roads, being 50kg lighter than my Bonnie it’s agility was amazing!👍. I also agree with Ian Hughes, the bike I rode was nice and smooth, if there was any vibration I was having too much fun to notice. I took the bike on A,B and motorway and it impressed on all, if I get one I will use it for everything.👍
