Wonderful ride along Ian! Too much salt on the roads here in Ohio to get out on a bike, this helps ease the wait😃. I love the back roads you show over there with all of the stone walls and buildings. Thank you.. PS. the Guerilla sounds great!

Thanks Wally. I understand your winters are long and hard, so hopefully I can continue to help you stay sane. If you like the stone walls, then hopefully you will enjoy the next two episodes. More walls, buildings, lakes/rivers and stunning scenery. Oh and Scorpio being ridden how he likes to be ridden ☺️😉

Thanks Mal. I fear there is a misconception regarding the 20mph limits. They are only in towns and villages, where the limit was 30mph. That said, I do rather try and make up for it on the unrestricted roads 😈😂

@@ianhughesroyalenfield Oh yes Ian, I like my maps. I've collected quite a few OS maps over the years and last year had a bit of a spending spree on new road atlases (that would fit inside my bike jackets 😊) I also watch out for and freeze frame, on the videos, any road signs to confirm locations ...... but your editing is both worthwhile and appreciated 👍

Well Phil, I think you and a good friend of mine would get on well 😉. We were clearing out Ann’s late mother in law’s house, and came across a wardrobe full of old OS maps. Her ex sister in law (lazy cow), was about to throw them all in a skip 😳. We managed to stop her from doing so, and sold them to an antique dealer, except for two, which I kept. I will send a photo of them to you. I kept them, as Inthought my dad would be interested in them. Cheers

Morning Ian , great roads round there, Porthmadog is one of our favourite places, especially Blackrock sands it's a beautiful beach, we go a couple of times a year and sometimes stay at the Haven Holiday Park at Morfa Bychan.

@@ianhughesroyalenfieldoh no ! you were literally a couple of miles from it mate, just further into the town centre and turn left, it's a mint up and down twisty little road, ride past Haven holiday park entrance and you can ride right up to the beach! There's a couple of good campsites there as well, we've camped at one , it's great listening to the sea from the tent !

Good seeing Porthmadoc again. The long stretch of road leading into it used to be a toll road decades ago - used to take ages waiting to pay for a little paper ticket. Mind you, it lasted for the day! Those speed limits would do my head in now. If Wales wants to encourage/increase tourism, they’d do well to scrap them. Until then, I and many others will avoid the place. Their loss, not mine.

Hi Ian I too had to do a speed awareness coarse at the Lancaster House Hotel . I was caught on camera doing 36 mph in a 30 limit in Blackpool . They also took £80 off me . Apparently the coarse is held online now.

Hi pal, just flicking through your videos and enjoying them I'm half interested in getting a 450 2 questions do you get water flicked up your back and why do you not use the satnav on the dash?

Good morning, and a Happy New Year to you. At the end of the video I will be releasing tomorrow, I show some photos of the mucky back end. Fortunately, the spray hasn’t reached my back yet, but there is some on the tailbag which is fastened to the pillion seat, not much, but worth noting. As for using a GPS Sat nav, I often find myself in areas with little, or no mobile internet, which is what the RE Tripper relies upon to work, which is why I went for the Garmin Zumo XT. Also, my phone is a Google Pixel 7a, which is well known to have difficulty connecting to the “Google” based system of the Tripper (you couldn’t make it up 🙄😂). Hope this helps, and can only suggest taking a Guerrilla out for a demo ride. When I did my first ride review, I had an idea how it would be, having ridden the Himalayan 450 a few months earlier, but I truly couldn’t believe how good it felt…..that feeling you get, when something just grabs you 😎 Cheers

Been on those roads so many times but always on business and by car but aren't they spectacular. 20 then 30 then 40 and back to 20, what an absolute ridiculous way to run a road system and typical of the woke crap that's forced on us these days.
