I find it humorous that to be considered an "adventure " bike, it has to have all the nanny features, but if it doesn't have them, it's a beginner bike. I have gotten rid of my Tiger 1200RP and have a new Himmy ordered.

I live in Hungary and always ride through the villages, mountains, valleys and forests with my old Himi. I drive 70 km/h or 43 miles/h. and with the atmosphere that my himi radiates, that is the feeling of adventure i get.

It was really fantastic that you managed to get the old and the new model together for a direct comparision, I don't think i've seen this before. Well done, and thanks for your honest opinion on both bikes.

Great review and a nice change to all the recent Sardinia reviews which all feel identical. Good to see what the pillion is like also. Taking the modified bike out later this year sounds great to see what they are like. Look forward to that in a few month. Loved your recent 401 review also. One of my favourite YT channels right now and you look lovely as always. 😀

The fact we won't be getting these in the majority of North America until 2025 (What I've been told by Dealerships), is heartbreaking. Hopefully they can work out some of the kinks before that though.

Greetings from India... A word abt pillion comfort... From your video, it's evident that if the foot pegs of the pillion were lowered by abt 4 inches, and an alternate set even lower by 6 inches, then the pillion wd get better thigh support...ref your video at timeline 16:50...Thanks

Glad you had some fun and just mud stains vs grass stains Deimante. Personal I think upside down forks should stay on track bikes /expensive road bikes. Harder to service and more likely to have seal leaks as lower targets exposed to rocks 'n bugs. Hope your weekend was dry (wet here). PS how did you can welding go?

Yes, the old one has more character and better looks, this could be mistaken for any other bike in this catagory. The old one has the analog clocks and the chunky alround look that I prefer. The only thing the old one really needs, is the performance of the new one, and then i'd be the happy owner of a Himalayan, untill then..., well, all stays as it is in my garage!

Man these European reviewers are always like "i loved OLD-SCHOOL OLD-SCHOOL".... because they've been pampered by modern amazing bikes for so long. We in Asia haven't been, that's why our brands (including Enfield) are striving towards making modern bikes. We here don't care that much about "old-school".

I like the new Himalayan but it could be any Japanese brand so for me it's lost its old world charm of the original 1950s style bike although the power increase would be very welcome over the old one.

This new Himalayan 450 certainly does vibrate alot, Don't mind a few (that's bikes after all) but far too much to be confortable over long distance.
@RS235453 ай бұрын
have you ridden one? i took test ride of my friends bike. it was comfortable on high speeds, not much vibration
@jimmyjam87953 ай бұрын
@RJ23545 yes took out dealer demo, as I was waiting for the Kamet white tubeless I ordered at the end of 2023. Vibrations so unacceptable to me, that I cancelled my order. Disappointing since I have been looking forward to getting this for 5 months.

How do western ppl call a 450cc bike a beginner friendly 😭as an Indian i find it crazy cause ppl mostly buy 110-160cc bikes as a beginner
@tomboyabit2 ай бұрын
Probably a mixture of the roads quality, difficulty to get a licence, accessibility and necessity to have a car first etc. I got a Sportster as a first bike, that was my beginner bike. But riding in East I’d never choose a Harley as a first one.
