What a gesture. Thanks a million Ben. You show that little bits and bobs that can be done on the bike to make the bike your own . But more importantly, looking after it well will pay the dividend.

fort twist, too tight steering, handlebar bent, too hard clutch draw, weak chest- shoulder muscles are some of the possible reasons for the pain . get these checked.

Question on K&N filter. I've installed one and noticed the air flow is from inside out vs outside in. Meaning the air flow that goes to the engine first flows from the side that goes inside the filter than out to outside the filter to the engine. I ask cause you should put the oils in the inside not the outside. You don't want the oils to get to the engine and clog. Also what's the correct idle for the Himalayan?
@ONTWOWHEELSBEN4 жыл бұрын
These filters are not uni directional ( universal type ) . Also the material used is micro cotton gauze . Apply oil and give it sufficient drying time . All of the oil gets absorbed ( if you use the right quantity) . A healthy idle rpm for a Himalayan would be 12-1400 rpm .

Hello from Oaxaca, México!! Thanks for all your videos. They are very helpful and give great and complete information about the issues related to the Royal Enfield Himalayan. I have a BS4 2019 and just got and installed an ECU Powertronic... My concern is that it didn't come with the Lambda sensor (oxigen sensor) connector..... Does my bike need it??? In the instructions that I got on line doesn't show that instalation, but I've seen a few videos where they install the Lambda bypass... So I don't know!!! Does my powertronic came incomplete???
@ONTWOWHEELSBEN4 жыл бұрын
Yes it has come incomplete. Kindly contact them and ask them to send lambda bypass wire with connectors.

Ben, I mite have mentioned this issue I am facing before. I am facing the issue of knocking. This particularly happens after the engine has run 20-30 km. When under load, lets say when riding in a ghat or incline or sometimes even on straight roads even at the right gear when i wring the throttle the engine starts pinking or knocking with drop in power. My bike has a free flow exhaust with stock spark plugs. Could this be that the engine is running lean? I am thinking of buying a Powertronics box to take care of the fueling. Bike is BS4 and will just touch 10000km on the odo.
@ONTWOWHEELSBEN3 жыл бұрын
Yes a powertronic WILL HELP with enriching the mix and reduce detonation / pinging .

Good Morning Ben, I want to seek your help in below matter on how to start Himalayan in below scenarios 1) If clutch cable is broken midway how do I start my motorcycle and ride away ? 2) If my battery died all of sudden while trip thank you
@Kislay_Joshi4 жыл бұрын
For 2) it is possible to push start the Himalayan by putting it in gear, and slowly engaging the clutch as you gather speed. Is difficult to do if the tires are worn out or if the ground is loose. Another alternative is to find a slope and use it. For 1) I would not recommend that you ride without a functional clutch - you can probably put the bike in neutral and then roll and get help. On that note,has anyone here used RE roadside assistance? Would love to hear reviews...
