I have the BS 6 version it’s just two months old just before the new one was launched, got it tubeless, early days, but I like it , there is a bit heating issue if you are on bumper to bumper traffic. Else on flyovers the twin cylinder really is felt extremely well, and quite refined.

If you had 5lakhs budget today. Which bike would you prefer for long touring purpose (no offroading). Was planning for interceptor but confused which to go with as there are many options like super meteor, adventure bikes, n etc etc. Please suggest with your wise experience. ✨️

@@iam_vivan Well there are two choices here within that budget and it depends on how tall one is and body structure (it’s very very important in my books) , if you are over 5’9” then SM 650 for long rides (although rear suspension is a bit stiff but if you a strong lower back, then it’s fine) , and for both City as well as long rides - then I would recommend the Interceptor - but with both since they are 650 CC and Parallel Twins one is bound to feel some amount of heat at this price point - but in my both these bikes they have RRP performance and a few normal aftermarket stuff like horns, Fog lamps etc. Do let me know if you have further questions, I will be happy to reply in my limited capacity 🙏🏻

@@abhigyansinha7924 Long rides on highway is the main purpose with a budget of approx 4-5L. People said I should consider adventure bikes like himalayan, upcoming ktm adv., triumph scrambler, etc. But somewhere in my mind I feel let's go for retro... you can buy a tech equipped adv bike anytime but interceptor this time gonna be probably the last change to get hands on. As new 650's got many pro's like better instrument cluster, tubeless tyres n all but they even got more plastic feel with their tails n all. Heart says interceptor, mind says purchasing once, go for better specs. everything. (Like tube tyres might be an issue in long ride, basic instrument cluster, no led indicator, n much more cons of interceptor.) Phew, just confused.
