I only test rode the meteor and bought it that day and rode it home . 5000 miles later no regrets at all. Previous but was honda pan European 1300 , pointless speed and power these days . I've toured Devon and Cornwall and the little meteor does it all no trouble loaded up with lots of luggage. Ref the exhaust rust , yes a little but just douse it with used engine oil after you wash it . Mine has only surface rust which cleans off , to be honest even if a had to buy another box every few years I would care , comfort is total and my bike always returns 95 to 105 mpg ( yes often over 100 mpg) best tank 106 mpg. For reference I'm 5'9 and 90k and I have added a one tooth extra front sprocket. Also the tripper is a bit poor so just use your phone 👍

Funny you say about the exhaust, I was thinking the same the other day that I would be happy to buy another every few years...The new ones have the box in another area I believe, not so exposed. In India they are transportation. In the West they are a toy. One that is under powered and over weight. Once everybody who wants a fake classic British motorcycles has one RE sales will tank. They are not a good commuter bike being underpowered. A good used Japanese motorcycle cheap is a much better beginner bike. Many people are disappointed with their bike and sell it at a loss. In America the slow lane goes 100 mph. You and your 350 will end up as someone's hood ornament. In the UK 3 year old RE 350 meteors brand new on the road for less than a used one. The 500 had hydraulic valve adjustment and a Kickstarter+10 more HP. The 350 is a less value than the 500. These bikes are loaded with electronics waiting to have a expensive failure. EFI makes modern motorcycles run hot 🔥🥵 as Hades and cooks your oil to ☠️. You pay for all the pollution controls when you buy the bike and then you spend more to replace it all. You pay twice.😢
