Royal Enfield Scram 440 - Soul of Old Himalayan | First Look

Not so successful Royal Enfield Scram has now been updated with a revised 440cc engine and around 1bhp/2Nm more power/torque. While the design has remained more or less the same, it has received a new speedometer, new LED headlamp, revised seat, and multiple new colour options. The company also claims to have worked on its refinement. Prices haven’t been revealed yet, we expect it to be in the same ballpark figure as the old Scrqm 411.

The main issue with the old Scram 411 was its weight! It is incredible that they have kept the weight the same.

Its not easy to reduce the weight. Either they would need to redesign the whole thing, or use more aluminium instead of steel (increases cost) and plastic (makes it feel fragile and look cheap). They wanted Scram to be a more simpler and affordable scrambler.

Its the oil cooler I think. You can see it in the 650 twins as well. Tripper is still available for this as an accessory.
