I live in the UK where Royal Enfield have gone from a left field choice to a more mainstream choice which offer excellent value for money (my meteor cost me less than a Japanese 125). The super meteor looks like another step up in class and has details like the new switch gear and indicators that look like a massive improvement over the ones on the existing 650’s. I expect the bike to retail about £7000 in the UK which will put it closer to the big 4 in price but if it is as well made as the meteor it should still be competitive. With the Harley EVO sportster being discontinued there is a hole in the market for this type of bike and the low seat height will appeal to the shorter rider (women). The bike in Europe falls into the A2 license category and could be a perfect first “big bike for those who have just passed their test.

The Super Meteor looks great! Those bags are perfect for that bike. I like how they curve with the fender. I don't mind paying a little more for this bike. It has more accessories, for long cruises. I think it's just a nice ride man. They should make them in the colors of the new 350s. Great review, keep it up!

Those panniers are average type and looks. They will fade in the hot sun, lose color and shape in a short span of time. I am fairly certain this bike will do well here in the U.S. It looks good and is priced at a point where people can buy it and then build it into exactly what they would want out of a bike. Although I want an interceptor or a 650 classic, or even the shotgun, I would expect this bike to sell better then any of those bikes here. The price point compared to all of the other bikes in it's class is what should really get it over, I mean that with it's look of course. The bike really looks like it could be a Harley from the 70s or 80s just with a different engine. What I am trying to say is it looks like a real bike, not like what most companies are calling bikes now days. I have a few more months before I can afford any of these bikes so maybe I will wait and get this one, (that red and white two tone is a very nice looking bike), but I don't know yet.

The bike really should come with a second disc brake straight from the factory. You can never have enough Breaking. It is sorry that they cheapened out and did not put a second disc on it when they were redoing the bike. It would not have added too much to the price. It would have been a good selling feature as well. Especially if you're going to be riding two up touring you want to have all the breaking power that you can get.

@@jotoportillo7128 brother first you go and review local street and highways then only you can understand.. You don't have enough knowledge about local streets/highways Buying a high value vehicle and doing some worthless modifications makes only wastage of time and money Vehicles need to be have practicality otherwise it would be a flop one

@@RANA-wi1je There are other considerations apart from practicality If your point of view were the only one, you wouldn’t have any cars above ₹20 lakhs, nor bikes above ₹2 lakhs, for example Some want aesthetics, riding style and a little differentiation, you cannot paint everything with the same brush. It’s a very myopic outlook India is a vast country with varying views, what is practical to one may not have much utility to the other. An impulse buy for one maybe a decade’s dream for another The simplistic statements about impracticality (that are usually found on the tubes) such as yours are simply the result of a lack of knowledge and understanding

@@RANA-wi1je No argument i think, we have different views and concepts. And we are of different countries. And lastly, RE motorcycles are not made just for india i suppose.....

Not much exciting actually if you observe actually. The hype dies here in India. I would rather go for the cheaper interceptor than spend a premium over this for what ? Inflated tank, raised handlebars, poor pillion support, same power torque, all of which can be achieved by cheaper after market mods. It's going to be a negligible sales churner for RE in India. For the foreign market though if priced optimally not aggressively it can work wonders for international markets like indonessian, Vietnam and US. Dont be judgemental. I am really awed by the launch but upon pressing hard on the pretext of buying it, I really don't find a differentiating factor. The alloys and the pillion looks darn cheap make. They had a real chance of breaking the premium cruiser market but they just screwed it with the own legacy. The same darn boring v shaped chasis. It feels like a moded bike. RE legacy and their noob fans are ok but when threading into premium category they donot intrigue cruiser enthusiasts like me. A bit more power tuning and design change would have caught my attention if not the legacy. I am not a RE hater infact I own a RE.

The alloys do look cheap, design wise, even on the Meteor 350
