I have no idea what triple mode is. Dual means it can be connected by usb c cable and by bluetooth (wirelessly).

They should be on by default when you plug in the keyboard. Try the brightness setting keys. You use FN plus one of the keys on the right hand side, they are labelled. One changes colors, the other changes effects and third pair changes speed and fourth brightness.
