Lucky to live in NW England from a golfing perspective. Hoylake on the bucket list _ enjoyed the recent Opens there though it doesn’t look as spectacular as Royal Birkdale

Looking at the footage and u boys it looks cold but a perfect day otherwise. Sun’s out. U cannot gauge the wind on the vid. Maybe show a clip of a flag or tree flapping to set the scene at the intro for what’s coming. Or not.

Im New in golf but I have a question, what in the first hole, which I think is perfectly driveable, you didn't?? Is the wind?? Or just strategy, or hitting a drive would be a error in this hole??? Thanks for your videos, greetings from Mexico!!!

It was a dogleg right, so the fairway they could comfortably hit was only 250yds or so, far under what they hit with a driver. They hit irons and woods to safely position themselves. Hope this helps 🙏

Leo do you think all pros play like the pros that are on TV each weekend? Only a handful are good enough to consistently make it to that level. Meanwhile there are other pros that grind it out and don't make the cuts to play on the weekend. Also, look at the scoring the TV's don't show you the players blowing up the course that day. You can't think because some one is Professional golfer they should always birdie and make incredible shots and hit every put. Please.

i realise that not everyone can get to the level of consistency that people like spieth and thomas can but these guys play golf every single day and some of the shots they were hitting werent the best

Most pros like this are about the same as a decent 4 or 5 handicap club golfer. If you are watching this and commenting on their ability as pros surely you play the game and realise what a club pro is v a tour/playing pro! I’m off 2....used to be scratch 15 years ago & I’m very capable of hitting loads of really sh*t shots and wild drives 😂
