The problem with a section 5 charge is that it’s heard in magistrates court, where the police are often believed. One guy was sent down for 1 month for calling someone a pig, another 3 months for calling someone an f*** pig. Totally wrong, but causing offence is illegal in Britain these days. Problem with police is that they are used to so much subservience, they cannot tolerate a citizen who knows his rights and stands up to them.
