Quite a few people don't know that Jonas Savimbi is a real person, and the first mission is based on the Angolan civil war (1975-2002). Savimbi died in 2002 in a firefight.

Best play around with the loadouts. You can have multiple attachments as long as there isn't the triangle exclamation point piece. I once got a weapon for four attachments. The perks are pretty handy and you will notice they are similar to the multiplayer ones in some cases. But I recommend that you keep that 'Access Perk' as that will let you access some special things that are essential for the challenges and are cool in general to have and use. If you want to know your challenges, I think it was either in the pause menu during missions or it could be hidden away and you would have to look it up or play the mission again to have it listed in the menu or on the side of the screen (right side as shown with 'Camflouge: Disabled' on your first future mission). That spot will also be for other things that you might unlock as well so make sure to look around your HUD for extra goodies. Another thing, there is 'side missions' that will be on the far right side of the mission select screen. Make sure to do those as it gives you an extra layer of fun without the main characters but usually plays like an RTS style gameplay. Fun for the most part and gives you some extra story bits that are mostly side story based among the rest of the campaign.

"its like enough futuristic but not too crazy" absolutely. this game is incredible and while it sometimes seems very gadget based and sci-fi, its not so over the top that you feel disconnected from the story. most things in this game feel plausible, as though humanity is close to this technology but not quite there. BO2 is the happy medium between modern shooters and RoboCop esk Wall Running simulator 2000

God seeing this has me hype. I might have to start a new game on this and see how our games differ. This campaign innovated the most in a cod game in my opinion. It has the loadout system that was insanely cool and if you hadn't noticed when you hit an enemy you now get Hitmarkers like in multiplayer (and warzone). There are obviously lots of things later in the game so I can't wait for you to get there. Thanks for the video!

Also, make sure you check the special weapons. The titan has 2 different firing modes, explosive arrows and shotgun. Some of the other specials have unique abilities as well.

You should customize your weapon loadouts for the entire series and keep the access tool. You can unlock weapons by completing challenges

I actually did blind playthrough a week ago and the game a blast, enjoyed everysingle piece of it, my most liked feature that you can customise your weapons before starting new mission and from my knowledge this is the only cod game that does that (i have only played till Cod AW, correctly if im wrong with that statement)
