Paul45Commando I was a brown job, I saw this when it came out- which was after my service was over, I thought it was a great programme. Two questions, if you could answer them for me- I read in a newspaper not long after this was screened that one of these guys was jailed for bank robbery, which one was it?I had the idea it might have been the blond one who was a bit of a rebel, but who redeemed himself with a very good free -climb.The paper just reported that one was up on charges, I hope that whoever it was was found not guilty, it's more than a bit sad for any of these guys to end up in the jail.Also, by TQ do you mean a chap who does the asking during QT?Although I wore a cherry berry and another lid, I was never badgey, and I have respect for other units or individuals that deserve it, and the RM are a fine corps.

@simonyip5978

Brian Gough a lot of Americans think that there is a standard 'British' accent, but 90% of the UK speak with a local county/regional accent. People from Yorkshire sound different to people from Cornwall, London people sound different to Birmingham people, western Scotland, Scottish Lowlands, the Highlands, NE England, Ulster, Merseyside, Manchester, East Midlands and West Midlands, North and South Wales, SW England, the Home Counties (the region around London), etc all have a specific accent. Even in some counties there can be several different accents (for example, Yorkshire has West, South and North and East Yorkshire versions of the Yorkshire accent even though the distance between the different parts of Yorkshire is no more than 50-75-100 km at the most).
