Royal Scot 46100 & Britannia 70000 at Exeter St David’s, 12th August 2020

Hello guys back again with another video this time with a steam video at Exeter st David’s this is not no ordinary steam video this is a double headed steam train video from Cardiff central to Plymouth well apparently class 47 started off at Cardiff central then the royal Scot and Britannia took over at Bristol temple meads with the class 47 at the very back providing the air conditioning and power a must see video guys reminds me of the flying Scotsman when it came down with the black 5 double headed, if you did like what you saw in this video then please do drop a like and any feedback will be so greatly appreciated 😊😊😊

Royal Scot is a beautiful machine but Britannia is phwoarrrr😀 Epic vid Alex. As said above,great to see steam charters back in action once more.

I'd have preferred the Britannia at the front but I have a bias cos I've seen that one! They could have had the Britannia go first when they change ends at Plymouth

Fuel up? Taking on Water perhaps? 70000 Britannia used for transporting King George VI body (Queen Elizabeth II Father) from Sandrigham to London for his funeral ..........Royal Scot's visit to USA and Canada to take part in the Century of Progress, Chicago and to promote British Enterprise .and aid USA Economy........ Reason for smoke........... building up fires in both locomotives to maintain Steam Pressure

They change it back to Britannia and the diesel at the back is roger Hoskins and I think royal Scot at the front on the way down and Britannia at the front on the way back and at Dawlish they did the royal Scot whistle then Britannia whistle great video :)

The steam train last Sunday was Britannia it was just branded as tornado, idk why

Fantastic video Alex!! Very good footage of the double headed steam tour, it's very rare to see any steam engine over on P2. I saw this at Tiverton Parkway as I was on my way up to Birmingham on the day...
