One of the most powerful voices in Rock today. If they can keep it together, they will one day be one of the great modern bands.

I saw them play a small show and thought, "Man that's cool. She played that show just like it was a big show." Then I saw them play a big show. She burnt that place to the fucking ground.

Too late. How do you think I found out about her?
@blackphillip84864 жыл бұрын
@@RazielXSR same. Well, technically I'd heard OF Royal Thunder in Revolver magazine but that was the first time I'd heard her sing. Bought Crooked Doors immediately after. 👍

Very underrated band! Drove 9 hours to see them in Fargo and was not disappointed! Mlny was badass to chat with too! Really cool guys. Saw Alice In Chains in Denver recently and wondered why these guys couldn’t land a gig opening for a bigger band! These guys would mop the floor with the band that opened for AIC! Just a shame they haven’t gotten more exposure!
@exxusdrugstore3006 жыл бұрын
They remind me of AiC for some reason too. I think the minimalist verses/massive choruses structure, along with the brick-in-the-face vocals give me that impression.
@sludgefactor63326 жыл бұрын
Mobes I’ll buy that to an extent. Totally different style but similar mood. There’s a band out of Poland called Sunnata that has an AIC meets Celtic Frost vibe. Same sort of deal. The song Zorya is totally badass!

I've seen them 3 times in Fargo and was at that show - they definitely never disappoint!

My god, her transitions from an almost whispering voice to an explosive splitting .... it's like a wave, it covers you over and over again, then calms you down, giving you an illusion of calm and safety, but then she carries you and you like it. Awesome music and vocals. Sorry I do not live in America. ((

I saw them around this time play a dive bar in PA, they opened for Crobot. Anyway I thought they were better than all 4 bands that night. Now watching some of these older videos and the 2 Minutes to Late Night Covers she is one of the best Rock singers out there!!!! Cheers gotta load my car up with Royal Thunder CD's to drive around to when I get home!!!
@Stachowiak85 жыл бұрын
Royal Thunder is super underrated!!! I saw them play in houston and Mlny puts every thing she has into each song...It looks like her whole body is shaking from the mighty roar that she lets out when she is singing...i mean crushing souls. It's UNREAL. Just listening to her live makes my throat hurt....haha. She makes my soul want to burst out of my chest and punch the first person it lays eyes on, just because it's freaked out from it's electrified royal awakening!

Fkn hell, Mel's voice is earth shattering. Those high notes on Anchor🤯😍🤘 She is so powerful she doesnt even need a mic live, I was right in front of her stage right and i was like "uhh i better step back" 😂 she can kind of death growl too. I love this band so much since back when I first saw them opening for Baroness in 2013. Can't wait for their new album, the Knife giving me CVI vibes.

this band seems pretty cool. the lead singer does it for me even with the ill advised tattoos. I appreciate that they use Acorn amps made in Atlanta. as a guitar nerd.. I don't know why someone would go to the trouble of buying a custom made tube amp and run a giant pedal board into it.. just me. angus young never had a pedal board.. just sayin.
