Watching him walks towards her with his walker, and then her walk towards him was very touching. He’s 100. She’s nearly 100. They have witnessed so much shared history in their lives, even though they have never met until now. Getting old is so sad, but at the same time, we should all be so lucky to live so long and still have our health and happy spirit. ❤️🙏

Both Her Majesty the Queen and Capt (Col) Tom looked very at ease, and for the first public audience, knighting such an inspirational character as Tom, must have been a highlight for Her Majesty, both in Isolation, shielding against this pandemic, but Tom has been a true inspiration and role model to a grateful nation, his character has done more to help give us hope, the first knighthood of its kind, and such a personal experience for these two amazing people. TRULY WELL DESERVED! God bless the Queen and Captain.
