Oil being removed is the same color as the oil added. I hope it was new oil just cycled out then back in rather than wasted.

You have to feel the torque as it is not possible to carry torque wrench everywhere

Just go by 'feel'. Tighten up and then just give it a 'pinch' more. That is all you have to do. NO more.

Probably a “skill level” issue as far as feel, but a small 1/4” torque wrench and socket set are tools worth investing in.

Just snug 'em up. I've seen more stripped oil drain bolt threads from dudes trying to torque 'em than you could shake a stick at! If you insist on using a torque wrench, an 8mm bolt should probably get torqued to less than 10 ft. lb. Question: How can you tell a KZbin mechanic from a real mechanic? Answer: KZbin mechanics think they need to torque every single fastener to spec!

It would be a less hassle if a regular drain bolt or an allen bolt was used instead of the wicked 8mm bolt. If proper torques weren't used they are known for their notorious behaviour. They either snap off or damage the threads or simply impossible to remove because of how tiny they are. Since they are under the engine and facing the elements all the time a small knick in the sides would cause a socket to loose grip and eventually slip.

This was good info, but don't be surprised when you release the side cover and oil starts POURING down your engine case, even after removing the bottom strainer. They make it look tidy in the video, but your filter will still be holding a lot of oil. Quite a messy procedure.

RE should continue UCE engine. It's the last one with the old heritage - push rod engine. Despite the vibrations, the torque is good and the beat is a music for the riders and passerby. At least, let Bullet Standard 350 continue with the UCE engine. It's good.

Better buy filter from OEM spare from RE authorised dealer. It will be easily available and cheaper as well. For engine oil you'll get good deals on Amazon for Motul and Liqui Moly

Incomplete information - does not mention; how to dispose the used oil? Taking it to the nearest RE service centre seems a good idea, provided they accept it. Their infrastructure has a responsible process to handle it..

You can't expect a cooking tutorial to show you how to wash the disher after you are done 😂. Have some common sense, any workshop will gladly take the old oil as even that old oil will be sold to wood mills for around 20-30rs per L.
