after picking up my new Guerrilla 450 on Friday, I hoped to get out for a ride yesterday, but guess what? yep, you got it, it rained most of the day, but this morning looked a decent day, so I thought it would have been extremely rude not to take the new bike out for a spin

Hi Colin. Great video, as always. I would run my Gurrilla in like you, in 'eco mode', makes complete sense to me! You will have plenty of time for the full beans, if you want, after that. You have also highlighted some pros & cons with the speedo display with a very balanced review. Royal Enfield do tend to take note of potential issues so, hopefully, they will improve & evolve in time. A common concern seems to be the indicator icons being too small &/or not distinct enough, for example. Keep up the good work Colin. 👏 👍

Hi John, thank you, I really enjoy doing these videos and I try to make them as interesting and informative as I can, but I think the thing has to be they are enjoyable, I always try to give an honest opinion, but of course, it's just my opinion and I fully understand if people disagree, I think the display has improved immensely, but with all that room why are the arrows so small and why green, red would have made them stand out, but of course, if I was 20 years younger there wouldn't be an issue, but your right, royal enfield seem to listen and that proves their dedication, thanks for watching .........colin 😀

Awesome! This is the exact color I want. I unfortunately have to wait till it’s released in the states next year 😏. I had a push and ride when I was a kid with this paint scheme. Every bike I have looked at I have blacked out in order to cut some red and yellow vinyl to it. Now I don’t have to. I think I will change the exhaust or matte black it out though when I get it. Hi Mark, yes I think I very lucky getting out today as the rest of the week is rain 🌧️, so they say, I want to get the initial 500km so it can have its service before the real bad weather arrives, ..... . Colin 😊

@@droneon29 For Sure Colin. Am hoping to get out on Mitzi tomorrow, leave her at garage that service’s Bumble. Do a optimate charge lead cable, front n rear fender extenders and adjustable levers. Get bus or train home and back Tuesday. Too cold to go early doors!

Colin - consider a magnetic tank bag for your storage issues. I have travelled all over Europe on my former bikes with my passport, wallet , spares and what not in my tank bag and it does not budge. I have a RE Himalayan 411 now and it sticks like glue to my tank. But easy on easy off. Just a thought fellah. Enjoy your new bike.

Hi Colin, thanks for watching, I have a magnetic tank bag that I use on my Himalayan 411 and the Meteor 350 and as you say they are great for all your bits and pieces and stick like glue to the tank, but, there's always a but, the shape on the Guerrilla is an odd one, and the tank bag, in my opinion, didn't quite sit right, I've always had a rear rack of some shape or form, but looking at the rear of the bike it, again, in my opinion, would look a bit silly, looks like its time to bring the backpack out of retirement ?? take care ..........colin 😀

I’ve used tank bags in the past, but won’t again on a tank with shiny paint. Too prone to scratches.

@elwood62 , I know what you mean, I always use a very thin cloth where the magnets go on the tank, so far I've never had any problems, it's just a bit fiddly, and if it's windy when you stop for fuel you tend to loose them 😅, ......... Colin ☺️

Morning…I was put into your channel by one of my subscribers, Dino, who mentioned that you have had a DJI Neo for a while, and recently bought the same colour Guerrilla as me …. we could almost be twins 😂. I am close to first service time, never run in eco mode, sometimes popped over 4K revs, which doesn’t do them any harm. I did a ride review on one of the ex launch bikes, and knew within the first 12 minutes that I needed a Guerrilla in my life. I haven’t heard people complaining about the lean on the Guerrilla, unlike the Himi 450, where it really does lean over too far. Subscribed to your channel, will be interesting to see what you get up to. Cheers

Morning Ian, Dino is always telling me about his sunny weather, which makes me very jealous, I've been subscribed to you now for a while, and I love the videos, yes the DJI neo is a cracking little drone, I have the mini 2 and the air 2 as well, but the neo is very comâct, the only drawback is, it doesn't like the wind, I flew mine on the beech and it nearly ended up in the UK, the Guerrilla what a bike, like you I'm loving every second on it, I want to get the first service done before the real winter weather sets in as the dealer is 3 hours away, not much fun in the rain and cold, I was hoping to get out today, but again the weather is against me, I have my 411 himalayan that I love, and its a great bike for my trips as I can pile things on, and then there's the 350 meteor, another great bike for cruising around, looking at our channels they are much the same, I think we can both talk a good talk, let's keep doing what we do, take care mate and ride safe, .......colin 😀

Congratulations on the new bike and I am sure you will give great content as you normally do on the channel. You may even convince me that this is a good bike..... I think sadly its an ugly duckling and lacks "soul" RE bikes cast back to the early years with the styling and that makes them unique, this one well its not a looker in my opinion and not my choice, however that what makes the world go round and difference opinions and tastes are needed. Like I say I may have my opinion changed but cant see me chopping in my Meteor 350 for this one :) Keep the vids coming always worth watching

Nice ride mate on your new bike, you can see and hear when you pull away that the revs spin up real quick, just like my 690 Duke, when she’s run in mate she is going to be a bit of fun, just about the right lean angle on the prop stand, when I was a kid I lusted after my mates Garelli tiger cross so much faster than my Puch VZ sport and sounded great, oh the days 😂 cleaned the wax off my chain this morning it takes a lot of getting off with my chain brush and cleaner then dry off and re oil wi5h Scott oil and off to Cancal for a spin, couple of things I didn’t know, the the stand foot is big which is good no more stand pucks, no more screw and locknut but shims, regular oil changes help extend the shims life, and rider mode, that’ll be on performance all the time with me, my 690 had 3 modes eco tour and mental, it stayed on tour for all the time I had it 😂 love Colin ….. Hi Pete, yes that chain wax is a pain, it seems to go everywhere, at long last we have a foot capable of supporting the bike, that's one thing I like about RE they seem to take notice of what bikers want, the difference between performance and echo mode is very noticeable, to be fair normal riding around here is well suited to the echo mode, I need to sort out some sort of tail pack, got to keep the sarnies Somewhere 🤣🤣......
