I went through two 750cc Royal Enfields back in the "good old days" (circa mid-1960s). My RE, my bride, and I spent a 3-month (January-March) honeymoon in Death Valley doing graduate study of the geology. Roundtripped from Minneapolis, MN and, later, Buffalo, NY, to/from Colorado and Wyoming. I don't know about this new version, but back in my era, it was kickstart ONLY. And most people didn't have the combination of leg strength and timing to do the job. Back then, the RE didn't come with an air filter ... so, I Rube Goldberged an auto air filter to fit the dual carburetors on my RE. Many, many wonderful memories!!

The best selling motorcycle in UK and USA (250-650 category) in 2019. The himalayan is also a great motorcycle proved by Noraly from itchyboots. Keep going on Royal Enfield, release the kx838 along similar lines and I think you will be unstoppable.

I have Bullet 350 which my father bought on the day I born. It is in very pristine condition. People still think it is new one even after 49 years. The ride make me feel quite relaxing. Specially the beat sound at night ride in desert of Rajasthan. Mesmerizing😊
