In my opinion, there's no difference 'cause roleplaying is like pretending to be a role and then playing as the role you chose. And I guess rping with an illness is okay as long as you don't go overboard (for example you rp as a depressed person and cut yourself in rp). I do rp with a illness but I never mentioned it, it's just chilling in my journal. xD But yeah that's gonna be my opinion, you decide what you do okay?

Well if your really depressed you would most likely pretend everything's fine when your really just dead inside ,I never really told anyone that I was depressed until one of my besties found out something was wrong but with her help and 4 weeks of trying to get out of depression.
