Yep, women view relationships like jobs. You may love a job and who work with. But if you have a better job offer with more pay and benefits you will move on. That’s the females mindset with relationships. I don’t think too many women truly love us men like we love them. We love THEM , they love how we make THEM feel and what we have to offer them. This is why once shamimg divorce was gone and it was accepted AND they can get paid to divorce even if they are the ones that filed. You bet they will divorce, get paid , keep the house and car and dogs and give you “visitation” with your kids. And then they move in Jody. Into the house that you were gone working to pay for.

You have to an Afghan to understand the Afghan. The Royal Marine's should have studied the fate of the Army of the Indus which invaded Afghanistan in 1839. We knew the outcome but only the arrogance of the American led misadventure, in the end, resulted in tasting humble pie. My heart goes out to all the poor, innocents who died in a war that was very avoidable but for the pig headedness of American leadership. The Talib emerged victorious by not only beating the Soviets but also the 45 nation alliance subsequent to the Soviet defeat.

I was also wounded about 300 meters from there at the canal crossing when we were conducting a Recon and one of our Afghan police officers tipped off the Taliban. We lost 2 guys there, but we probably killed close to 200 fighters in 2 days of fighting as we also had aircraft on station all day, plus we had an AC-130 overnight who kept pounding targets. The Danish also a guy there who lost an arm, and they actually left one of their interpreters when they hauled ass out of there. When they told us what they did, we kitted up and went back there and found the terp running towards us. We drove farther down the wadi and actually found the Danish soldiers arm he lost. Crazy times. FOB Price, ODA 7125 April 2008 - Jan 2009
