in a lecture on frederick ashton, my professor kept mentioning this ballet and I thought it was honestly called "send a ballet' :/

That is hilarious 😂 love it. When I was new to ballet and heard English speaking people talk about a certain classical ballet, I always thought it was called "Donkey Joté" (make that a Spanish "J") - and I always thought how weird it was to make a ballet about a donkey... 😂😂

Opinions vary but I LOVE Ashton's interpretation of this amazing score and he based his choreography around Euclidean geometry apparently. Just goes together so well and with Beaurepaire's costumes. To see Muntagirov and Lamb doing it - wow! Best ever!!
