For anyone who is interested in stargazing (based on the collection theme, I promise this isn’t coming from nowhere) I’d recommend looking up the Astronomy Photographer of the Year Awards run by the royal museums Greenwich, the 2024 winners and full shortlists were announced not too long ago and the photos on the website are STUNNING (my fav is the skyscrapes category but I also love stars and nebulas, auroras, people and space… the list continues).

The palette knife top is so visually pleasing to me. It made me think of one of your old soaps, the white base with 5 or 6 neon colors, and how that would look with a painterly slab top. Or maybe the colors would get muddy... A sunset vapor wave vibe or a nighttime synthwave vibe with a palette knife top would be so cool 😄

I actually feel like trampolines for tables make way more sense! Trampolines need to have a lot of tension to work. If no one is actively jumping on the table, I think it would be fine. Obviously we have to train ourself not to be aware of how anyone else is using the table at the same time, but if you're by yourself I think you could moderate your pressure pretty easily. And to only be able to sit in a bean bag?? That's fine for a little while, but there are a lot of situations where you need more support. Think about your grandparents!! lol

QofTD: Trampoline table, for sure! My old knees and hipbones aren't getting out of a bean bag chair without the aid of a block and tackle and/or a small crane.🤣 Love the palette knife look on the top of this soap. It looks very subtle and sophisticated. Sometimes the sort of deep "back of the spoon" applied texture is too much for me.

I think as long as you had a no jumping on the trampoline tables, they'd stay sturdy enough to not bounce your stuff. I'm only 41, but i have a very bad knee. If i had bean bag chairs I think I'd lose both knees haha.

This whole collection is lovely, and the top on this one is amazing! I bet you could do a whole world of things like this - like a Van Gogh's Starry Night or Kilmt's Kiss. (Definitely bean bag chairs for me, I do too many tiny crafts for trampoline tabletops to work in my world xD) Also, I really appreciate the de-stress message in this video. I think you and I have different colour vision Katie. I think you don't see yellows as strongly as I do. Because that other bar you compared saying they were both pinks? To me that's oranges 😂 Cosmic Carolyn always struck me as a very orangey pink too whenever you use it. And I almost always find the blues you choose too green-blue for my tastes. So I think yellows are the common denominator.

Can you tell us why you mix the color in a small amout of liquid before you add it to the big pot? Is it just preferance or is it that you dont have to stirr too much? Looove your videos AND your recipe!

It's not strictly necessary, but it helps the colorant disperse into the big containers better. If I don't do it, my blender throws the colorant around and I have to chase it all down so I don't get little speckles in the finished bar 😂
