No he didn`t. Edward VIII had great sympathy for the unemployed and wanted social programs to help them out. He criticized the then Tory Prime Minister Baldwin for doing absolutely nothing to help poor people.

OMG… no emotional warmth, no love. His brother was much better as a father! If Edward would have been a serial killer, he would have gotten off due to his past! He should have grown up! Thank goodness he didn’t become king!

All of you who blame Edward have no idea what it was like for him because you prob wish you had the life he had with luxury....But money cant solve all problems and to me in all the documentaries I have watched about him it seems like his parents were the problem and all he wanted was their love which he found in Wallace......
