In this clip, Royce Da 5'9 talked about the making of "Boblo Boat." He gave the backstory of Cole landing in Detroit and needing a studio to record in so he opened up his space to the Dreamville star.
After playing a couple tracks Royce said he played "Boblo Boat" to which Cole immediately hopped on. Despite the fact that J Cole "toe-tagged" the track per Royce's opinion, Vlad told him that he had the better verse on the song.
Royce also discussed the sentimental significance of "Boblo Boat" which was a theme park in Detroit where his family would go and where he recounts some of the more pleasant moments of his childhood.
