Lord Jamar spoke to VladTV about XXXTentacion being compared to 2Pac following his untimely death, and Jamar said he could see similarities between the two rappers. He went on to speak about seeing his son visibly shaken like he was over 2Pac when his son heard about X being killed.
During the conversation, Jamar addressed Boosie saying most rappers are killed in their own city. He explained that a lot of crime is about proximity and people taking the path of least resistance. To hear more, hit the above clip.

XXX is this generation's XXX. There's nothing wrong with that. You can draw parallels between specific aspects of their careers, but XXX didn't transcend music the way Pac did. He didn't have the substance that Pac had. And that's not to say he didn't have any, but there's a reason 22 years after Pac's death people are so eager to name another Pac. And it's not because there was another Pac.

I barely see people talk about X anymore regardless of all the different things he can do with music. Pac actually tried bringing gangs together to quit fighting eachother, made a code designed by O.G.'S and brothers from prison. Pacs legend goes beyond music. And it's fact that the FBI had that man under surveillance since he was a child. X had more time to focus on music while Pac was out more trying to bring a community of black brothers and sisters together.
