it's best to have extra planks from the ones you bought as they may not sell that design and color anymore in the future.

You pulled them out in 2010 because vinyl 1.0 (aka linoleum) went the way of the leisure suit. They were a fad and disgusting to most people by the '90s. That was my point. Hell, I bet you think it's perfectly acceptable to put cement based stuff over gypsum base.
@bobbyking1456 Жыл бұрын
it is nice to have the ability to remove an indavidual tile, but floating floors do have an advantage as when the floor needs to be replaced you just take it apart without having to destroy the tiles and there's no glue to clean up. Also aligning it is much easier and they are more waterproof in most cases. Definitely think about it if you're not on concrete as there are a lot of floating floors that can't do that.

It cuts easy, you don't need to beat it into place like grooved LVP (I always called it click together but IDK if anyone else does), and it look pretty good. only thing I like more is glue down carpet tiles because it feels better and is harder to feel high and low spots. a million times better than linoleum sheets so thank God I wasn't alive in a time where that was normal to put in your house.

When I called a supplier about laying direct to a concrete floor they told me that the warranty/guarantee would be void unless the LVT was laid on ply for upstairs areas or a floor levelling compound for downstairs. You should check with your suppliers if concrete floor application would affect your warranty before laying direct to screed.. this is in UK but manufacture is probably the same

Of course they want you to buy the more expensive stuff.

Expect to do this a lot. I have these floors. The issues are many.

it gets cold and then hot. Then you have gaps. I used it before on a client's house. Had come back following year and replaced the whole floors.

The seams on these non-interlocking floors invariably look bad in time, especially in high traffic, or wet areas.

There are arrows on the bottom. The boxes are #'d . Lay them accordingly and they look like real wood kinda

This flooring is the worst. Ours was brand new and it peeled constantly and was damaged easily by furniture and appliances. It also separated at the seams. We ended up getting all new floors.

Concrete basement floors are different than above grade concrete slab foundations. That's why you got the question. Without an appropriate vapor barrier that would allow the basement floor to breath, this product would not work. Water would pool under it 24 hours a day.

You’re right. That’s not going anywhere, especially in my house
