JT, Cant wait to hear your new music your "new style and something different". Truth is though we just need more of "The Voice". Hoping you release your song I heard in 2013 at your Jersey concert "A Boy from Jersey". I really enjoyed that song and listen to it on you tube. I had Dr.j as one idol growing up and you were/are the other. I have been to 35 of your concerts over the years, and want to thank you for being you. Your solo work is very underrated. You never got the individual solo recognition you deserve. Hits like : sex on the beach, winner, baby im back, american family, long hot summer night, jamillenium, one night, lets make love, Heart to heart, All I want is Forever, and more would be a fantastic greatest hits cd. One thing you said in this interview stuck me, "if it sounds like something I did before dont do it again". I know your new music is done as you said and will be coming out, but please STILL BE YOU, WE ALL CHERISH AND LOVE YOUR SOUND AND MUSIC. Just because the dj's didnt play your solo work like they did katg, doesnt mean it isnt "Fresh" and a "Victory". In my opinion State of Affairs should have gone big time and it didnt, but it has fantastic music. Stay you, and dont change for anyone. Much respect. Stay safe.

JT TAYLOR is an awesome and charismatic musician. I love his positive attitude. He’s very eclectic in regards to his musical influences- Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix, and Stevie Wonder. I actually really love the old school Kool & The Gang. My favorite song is “Jungle Boogie” off Wild & Peaceful. The good news is that JT was a Win/Win for Kool & The Gang. His vocals made Kool & The Gang even better musicians. They already had that strong jazz 🎺🎷🎹🎼 foundation. I still wonder why JT didn't get a verse on the song "We Are The World"? I'm from Germany, I have all the Kool And The Gang and J.T. CDs. Nice interview with music singer James Taylor of Kool And The Gang. James Taylor, The Jacksons(RIP Michael Jackson), Luther Vandross(RIP), Cameo, Midnight Star, Florence Ballard of The Supremes(RIP), Vanity(RIP), Zapp(RIP Roger Troutman), Dazz Band, Bell Biv Devoe, Ronald Isley of The Isley Brothers, The Gap Band(RIP Ronnie Wilson, RIP Robert Wilson), Beyonce Knowles are my favorite black music singers. James should've stayed with Kool And The Gang. I don't like Master Of The Game, Feel The Need, Baby I'm Back, A Brand New Me albums.

JT Taylor should have learned a lesson from Levi Stubbs of the Four Tops. Who does he think he is, Dianna Ross? Also, that Judith Durham chick ditched the rest of the Seekers. Better to stick with your old group that made you.
