People need to give Vontra more credit. While she only appears near the end of the film, she made a big impact as one of the best villains in DreamWorks history. She’s definitely a more menacing version of Auto from WALL-E.

I think the version of ‘morally neutral’ she was programmed with steers more toward having no morals at all and no empathy for anyone, which makes her extremely dangerous and definitely a villain. Just one created in a very different way.
