Et pour la petite histoire de ce film :
26 ans après son tournage, après de nombreuses péripéties (a)variées, complications technico-métaphysiques, disparition respective du canal audio gauche, puis du Master, puis de Rozz Williams lui-même, ce film voit enfin le jour grâce à ce pré-montage. Pas tout à fait le montage final, mais c'est tout ce qu'il reste....
Filmé en multi-caméra amateur (S-VHS, Hi-8, S8) sans régie
Monté au scotch et à la bière en synchro approximative
Restauré depuis une bande U-Matic monomaniaque
Audio repasteurisé en (fausse) stéréo
Résultat de piètre qualité technique, mais un beau souvenir de ce concert mythique !

I met Rozz when I was 13. My parents split up and my dad moved in with his new girlfriend who had 2 girls who knew him living there. (Azusa Ca.) I played pool with him and I was a little metal kid and he was so cool and spent time talking to me instead of the adults about music. I’ll be 50 in a couple weeks but I’ll never forget that night.

That's a great memory to cherish! He seemed like a friendly, gentle kinda guy, so him rather talking to you instead of sharing stories with the grown ups, makes a lot of sense....

Back in the 80's when Rozz lived in SF, he could often be seen at some of the smaller clubs where he would often MC shows. He had this amazing charisma. If he was in a club, yours eyes would immediately go to him.

Yeah... *much* better! Before he was 38 (and died) he did so many things, he had many bands and projects, made many albums, played a lot of gigs, had many looks, did his collages and performance art, and it was *all* DIY! I love that, he must have been busy all the time. And he was a great character, very charismatic, and he had intellect, a true pioneer of (American) Goth/Death!

Quand je pense, les veinards qui ont assistés à ce concert... À ce moment là j'avais 16 ans et j'écoutais le pire du répertoire de Christian Death ( sex,drug,& jesus Christ, sexy Death god,enfin c'est mon avis...). L'album "only théâtre of pain " ainsi que le maxi " Death wish " sont venus peu de temps après, et là, se me parler davantage. Excellente set liste sur ce concert, un grand merci de l'avoir posté.

He needed a variety hour t.v. show. It's 70s and the field between and the screen was deep. You had to be in great shape to be a vampiric person and still have good grades whilst you diggity shallow but affordable graves. We dig 45 grave with extra gravy on the side of dark disparity.
