Hi! I've never had problems but when I read your comment I looked for information... apparently some versions of the emulator corrupt the savedata. I've been testing RPCS3 for quite some time and surely having an old savedata I have not had any problems. In the forums they recommend using some old version to generate a new savedata ... a user named Kravicka recommends using this version to do it : ci.appveyor.com/api/buildjobs/csvfo32d3hvetwp8/artifacts/rpcs3-v0.0.4-2017-12-09-eb00bd50_win64.zip (forum RPCS3: forums.rpcs3.net/thread-163947-page-3.html) If this does not work, I can upload my savedata and try to use it... The first time you play and load a character or a scenario, it is normal that the game does not run smoothly because the shaders are being generated and saved (you will see a message from "Compiling shaders ..." at the bottom left). Then it should work fine for you. As for the CPU load, I just tried it and it varies between 15% and 50% of CPU usage (but I have an i7). I think the emulator uses the CPU more intensively than the GPU, but since I don't have an i5 to test, I wouldn't know if it is normal to reach 100%.. There is an option in the configuration that you can activate, which is appropriate for i3 and i5 ... in the CPU options: activate "Lower SPU thread priority". I don't know if it will improve your performance but try it. If I find any information I will tell you. Cheers

You reach the requirements without problems ( rpcs3.net/quickstart ) I would try to change some things in the emulator configuration, because in my video I show my configuration but I have an Intel CPU. In the CPU options I would put PPU Decoder> Recompiler (LLVM), SPU Decoder> Recompiler (LLVM) and in "Additional Settings" it would turn on "Enable thread scheduler" (because for AMD cpu it is better) "Enable SPU loop detection" and "SPU Cache". In the GPU options I would try a lower resolution than what I use ... maybe 1920x1080. In theory Vulkan works better than OpenGL but I would also try between one and the other. I use the European version of the game (BLES00635 updated to 01.03), just in case that also influences. Let's see if that works better for you ... As the emulator is still under development, there are games that work well on some computers and poorly on others depending on many things, the same thing happens to me with some games that do not work well for me.

It's been a while since I tried the Tekken 6 with the emulator ... with the latest version (RPCS3 7757) I also get the broken graphics. I have to do tests with different configurations to tell you something ... For now what I did was try OpenGL instead of using Vulkan and it seems that it looks better, although it is not as fluid. Also, the first time a new character or scenario appears it will take a while to load all the shaders ... after a few games and with the compiled shaders it will work better. A solution while testing configurations :) My provisional settings: LLVM + ASMJIT + Load liblv2.sprx only + Enable SPU detection + SPU Cache + Preferred SPU Threads: Auto + SPU Block Size: Safe + TSX Instructions: Enable (my CPU has TSX) + (As you have an i5 cpu I would turn on the option of "Lower SPU thread priority") + GPU Renderer: OpenGL

I have tried "Gran Turismo HD Concept" and "Gran Turismo 5 Prologue" and they work quite well with the standard emulator (and configuring the emulator options a bit) "Gran Turismo 5" and "Gran Turismo 6" do not work for me in the standard emulator but there are modified "WIP" versions of RPCS3 in which they do work ... I tried them a long time ago and they ran well with some small graphic defect and they crashed from time to time ... Now I guess they will work better, maybe I will try them this weekend if I have time

@@AdmiralStickney Good news! I have just tried the latest version of RPCS3 (0.0.15 12110) and "Gran Turismo 5" already works for me without having to use special versions of the emulator ... tomorrow I'll test if "Gran Turismo 6" also works.

I just tried the Tekken Tag Tournament 2 with the latest version of the RPCS3 (7757) The USA version gives me a data failure when I start and it does not let me do anything else. The European version starts well but there comes a time when the screen goes white and does not progress anymore. I've seen videos of people playing without problems at 4K and 60 fps, maybe with some previous version of the emulator that did not give these failures, I do not know. I have to search a little more and inform me, try and when I know something I tell you

That always happens, the emulators end up generating better graphics than the old emulated video consoles... With the power of today's computers and GPUs it is normal for it to happen. Thanks for comment

Dude, do not do that because not every game is playable (playable games are 44.11% as you can read in rpcs3.net).

@@NeroTestero still, very hyped for this emulator. Once it gets full optimization it will be amazing. Was just playing tekken 6 and compairing the ps3 with the emu. The emu blows it away. this and the wii u / switch emu will be the emus of the future once they receive full network support.

@@NeroTestero I know that not all playable games yet, the emulator is in development and lacks a lot of work ... but the games that it emulates have obvious graphic advantages over the originals. Same thing happens with Xenia-XBox360, YUZU-Switch, CEMU-WiiU, PCSX2-Playstation2, Project64-Nintendo64, YabaSanshiro-SEGA Saturn, ......

For this emulator the CPU is more important than the GPU. With that GPU you can surely play it more or less but what I told you, the CPU is more important.
