Mike is a musical legend. I remember seeing him perform this solo over 10 years ago. He continues to perfect it to this very day.

I love that you did this. Been listening to Mike for awhile now and he’s a musical legend! All his songs are passion and incredibly talented. Babylon control is another one he really does a lot solo. One of my favorite artists for sure 👍 OneLove

Mike is a legend man... He is so refreshing! I love reggae since I was like 7 years old. I had a friend who didn't have too much money. For my birthdays, he would always give me second hand things, but somehow, his gifts were always the best. One year he gave me a cassette tape (yeah I'm old) from a local, but very famous (locally in Quebec, as well as in France) comedian, which I discovered through this tape. To this day, I'm still a fan of that comedian. I must have listened to this tape at least 200 times, it was fantastic! (L'album du Peuple Tome 2 for Quebec people :P). The next year he gave me a used Bob Marley and The Wailers CD (Legend). I have no clue where he got that from, he lived with his devout catholic grandparents... I doubt Bob Marley was their music of choice. In any case, he gave me that CD for my 7th birthday. I became a huge fan of Reggae at age 7 haha. I also still have this CD, and it is the best album ever made.

Dayum! Reggae isn't usually something I pick to listen to, but this performance is just amazingly impressive. Just had to add this to my random music playlist. I'd love to hear your decomposition of Imogen Heap - Hide and seek.

Hi Geebz, just joined from your regular channel. Canadian. Several coffees sent. :) Wonder if you might hit up something called Avalanche, by Matthew Good. The strings are the Vancouver Symphony Orch. The song is brilliant. Cheers

Hi, I have a recommendation. It's the song "Last Waltz" by the kpop group twice (you know them). The song is mix of waltz and modern pop. The song is really good, and so is the whole album that they just released. I think it might be interesting for you!!
@tylerb.72933 жыл бұрын
Really digging the vocals on this, especially the earlier sections. Need more of that in metal songs. I mean, there's reggae metal, but it doesn't seem as crafty as this stuff. Then again, my experience with reggae anything is subpar. How world contemporary is Japanese indie rock/math rock to you? I'd love to see you give the band tricot a listen, particularly their song Pork Ginger from their album "3". Most of their catalog is pop-like.

Hey its me again, fan from the metal channel. Going to start posting this all over this channel feels annoying but its for the the algorithm. Please check out Hiatus Kaiyote they are from Australia (RIP) . One of my favs is "Dr. Jeykll" but their whole discog is epic :)

Hi Geebz. Watching you looking so chill on your island, I can't help but think of my favorite movie, The Descendants. Such a moving and beautiful film! Oh! and yeah, George Clooney got robbed at the Oscars that year! Since you talk about doing some local music, it would be interresting to watch you decompose a song from that OST. I really enjoy this one : kzbin.info/www/bejne/h4C6qYyHgL-AeKc So, from the North, congrats for the one year anniversary of your other channel and I wish you a speedy recovery! Take care!

Aloha geebz! I hope you can react to Eivor singing Trollabundin live! She is from the Faroe Islands and does some incredible folk singing with some traditional throat singing. She is a wonder. She also sang the soundtrack for The Last Kingdom on Netflix. I think she is perfect for this channel! In the meantime I'll be sure to suggest more Nightwish on your other one! :)

Holy crap, I know this song. Just randomly found it years ago, I don’t even remember how. Good ol’ fashioned reggae. On a similar(ish) note, you’ve never reacted to Sublime, have you? _Don’t Push_ by them has some really cool engineering work on it, and I gather that you’re a big fan of stuff like that. Also just a really good song, one of their best imo, but they have a lot of good stuff. _April 29, 1992_ also has a lot of added audio samples that are really cool. If you wanna check them out. Really good-vibe type of music, although the lyrics are pretty dark. Very beloved band. RIP Bradley.

Hell yeah those are great songs, along with Badfish, Pawn Shop, D.J.'s and Jailhouse just to name a few that I'd love to see Geebz do a reaction vid for👌 I was born and raised in Boise Idaho so when I first heard them shoutout my home town in the track April 26th 1992 it kinda blew my mind, but maybe that was the cheap ass diesel bud I was smoking at the time in high school haha
