All the characters in this game are so relatable somehow... The way they talk to each other sounds like somethings that actual people would say to one another... The dialogue and the story feels real the way it's told. What a magnificent game this is...

@@chrisfoy6034I think this is how people would talk at another time. Like a Jane Austen novel. Jane Austen just wrote how her contemporaries would actually speak and their words tend to be more formal than today’s English (then again her characters were upper class).

Yes, and VIII was clearly inspired by Star Trek. And the XIII series is basically science fiction. The writers at Square are science fiction fans at heart, less so than fantasy fans.
