RPM Nationals 2023 Pt I walk thru & drag race time trials. Pt 2 swap meet, eliminations & pit action

The RPM Nationals held at the Santa Margarita Ranch (on the Central Coast of California) is an old school, early drag race event that is unbelievably cool! The period correct
rods, classics, and vintage cars were amazing. There were vendors and amazing, also period correct swap meet with enough components to build a car to compete. Speaking of competition, there really wasn’t any although there was the last hour to “grudge race”. You remember, For pinks of coarse. And with all the jalopys and dragsters, there weren’t two alike. Really refreshing not to see hot rods by the numbers. Next RPM meet will be in the spring at Barons, San Diego. Be there or be square!!

I apologize for that . This was my first attempt at uploading from my iPhone to KZbin. I’m on the road to shoot the Winfield / Watson event and then home. Once home I’ll be completing my RPM experience post part I I from my normal editing desk top. Along with the W/W show in Mojave. Thanks for the view and I’ll try to learn new stuff. I’m just not worthy quite yet. Hope you won’t give up on me.
