Thank you for this. Definitely the best one I have watched. I feel very confident that I am ready for when the bike shows up.

Thanks, it was fun to assemble and a great feeling to take it for that first ride after doing so too

did you have an extra connection where everything plugs into the wiring harness behind the head light? I can't find anything that could possibly connect to it
@nicein20003 жыл бұрын
Yes, I’m pretty sure I remember an extra connection that went unused. But I think it’s for a diagnostic reader connection

Great voice over compared to the original haha but seriously good job sir. Where does the tube at 14:30 connect to?
@nicein20003 жыл бұрын
That’s the battery breather tube. One end connects to a nipple on the battery and the other end hangs free and does not attach to anything. It lets any buildup of gas escape.

@@nicein2000 Omg 🤦 Thank you!! I was losing my mind when it said "Install a plastic tube of gas tank," thinking it was supposed to come off the fuel tank somehow. I upgraded instantly to a sealed AGM battery so I don't even have to worry about that hahaha thanks again!

@@lucid_galaxy_9799 what battery did you go with?
@lucid_galaxy_97993 жыл бұрын
@@kingtruckerea7651 I went with a ETX7S powersports battery from O'Reilly's, but then took the bracket out and put in a ETX14L. The 7 only has 100 cca so I decided to upgrade to the 14 which has 220 cca.

When the bike arrived in a crate? They were in a plastic bag with the manual and other papers.

While this assembly is kind of tedious, remember, you pay a stealership about $1,000 to do this assembly for you with a Japanese bike.
