Rest in peace Sultan Qaboos, people accuse him of being too neutral but he did what he needed for his country. The people prospered and population grew.

I was there 1973 to 75. Sultan Qaboos was the nation's saviour.

add Iraq & Syria to the list. Yemen is kicking back right now, although I am afraid they will be dealt with the same way as Japan.

@@edukee They won't be dealt with. It is genuinely a military defeat of the United States if war was to happen. The US navy of the past would win, but Yemen would win today.

As we see, the British created Pakistan and had access to the North wesrern frontier militants.. trsained by the British... been there a looooong time the Brits ;-)

Why no Pakistani Army helping Sultan? India I believe was non aligned.
