Rrb is for those who want near home posting. Rrb po job has less work pressure even it it not 25pc of nationalised banks. You can go home after 5 or 5.30 pm. I am a po in rrb joined in April this year. I got posting just 8 kms from home. One major con of rrb is late promotion. I would say rrb po is worth preparing.

I recently joined RRB PO for the same reasons .. posting near home...i am currently posted at a remote island 12-13 hours away from home... My branch ends on 8:00 pm on average... I know things will change... Many of the new joinees are posted near home and they end the day by 5:30 6.. but you have to be prepared for the worst. Getting any job these days is very difficult... But if your priority is home state then rrb po else ibps po

Rrb po is very good job Everyone will respect you If u want to live near home posting then it will be best job. Less work load, you can prepare or do any other course during the job. Just one con of this job is late promotion. But it's not a big deal you can apply for departmental exams

Fast promotions is a scam.....first learn and be mentally prepared...dont just take it for showing off....take care of your health also
