I own an insulation company. We have 3 trailer rigs. Every other Friday is payday. We end those days at 3pm. I get knocked on for it by my buddies in the trades. At 3 on those days we ask the guys to clean the trailer. They take 30 mins and they thanks everything, wipe everything down, grease the trailer, give it a quick wipe on the outside and they’re off by 3:30. They love it and it’s great for us. By business partner and I use that time to take inventory, order supplies, contact suppliers or schedule maintenance. It works for everyone and every other Friday we’re all home by 5 instead of closing up at 5. So far it has worked well and our retention is really high.

This is a good book. Does provide a step by step introduction to how to build things kzbin.infoUgkxhgbP-6hUnXu_QRaoHgLztgsI0YF3HqR0 , also does offer some steps. Includes pictures to give you ideas for layouts and such. If you are looking for a guide, this is not exactly what you want. But if you are trying to familiarize yourself with the way that pole barn building and other out buildings, are made, then this will work just as you need it to. A few things in this book are a barn (of course), detached garage, storage building, and coops.

Just put 4" PVC pipe on the ceiling with the back of the pipe running close to the ramp door. Different length pipes for different levels and they're all a couple inches from the back door so they don't fall out going down the road. Put some foam in the front few inches to give them something soft to touch against. Also some sort of protection on the inside length to protect them while bouncing along going down the road. Problem solved. That'll be $8.00 please....

Yes. Use clear PVC pipes, like those used in dust collection systems.

A friend of mine has a trailer similar to yours. he added 400 watt Solar Panels to the roof, mounted an inverter on the wall linked to his tool chargers. As long as the sun shines, the tool batteries charge. Over the course of weekends all batteries are fully charged. he went on to add a lithium battery bank, so now the battery charges work even at night on job sites. Batteries are always charged. great add on.
@cheetoman23 Жыл бұрын
A little more complicated than need be. Charger has transformer so turns it back into 12v DC anyway, cut the wires to that and no inverter meeded

Add a 12' cable tray cage down the one side of the trailer roof, load all the Stabila levels in … easy to see whats in there, easy access and safe for transport.

Always look forward to seeing your work trailer. From professional to another, that’s a stagie way to hook up to 120v. Mount an built in port with the weather cover. Seeing an extension cord going through a metal doorway makes me shutter. They’re not that different to install. Love your show.

Greg needs to mic up for days like this. You probably don't want to cover up your decal wall but....mount a length of PVC pipe, probably 6", with a threaded plug on one end, cap on the other just long enough to hold your levels.
@johng12325 ай бұрын
Just getting to this series. Love the trailer. Pretty efficient work area. An idea for the levels and front cabinets… Could you move the drill storage under the top cabinet and use the wall over Greg’s coffee table for your levels? Also, putting some cubbies in the upper cabinet for silicone tube storage, might help with the clutter up there.

Yeah, today it is really easy to have a 5kWh LFP battery and one or two 400W panels to run the essentials. Only a little harder for a system that can run a suitable air compressor. The roof is big enough to have 4-5 panels on it.

you need an old milk crate to haul your batteries back and forth from the trailer to the charger. never know when one is going to fall and bust because it hit the ground or something else just right. that would be bad.
@JBLewis Жыл бұрын
For the fasteners, is there room to stock two containers of the fasteners you want on hand? That way you always know that if there's just one container, you need to restock, and if you use up a container in a given day, you can rely on there being a another container on the trailer.
