I got this model 3 days ago at my local hobbytown USA. I was so stoked to have found it just sitting there. $70 bucks. But way worth it. ITS A MASTER GRADE. And its EPYON. my favorite from the show.

@MrChubs209 ive only built 1 mg and it was the wing gundam that came out last year. even if ur not a fan of gundam wing u shud pick it up, its a great kit and holds its buster rifle with no problem

@MrChubs209 Go for it, its all about confidence, having time and patience to me its no difference but the fact that MG kits are larger and more detailed to build especially having more parts then HG and SD but as long you follow the manual its worth it when finished

@shadowblack1987 I know the Epyon wasn't in the Endless Waltz -anime-. However, they are making manga and novel stories, with "Endless Waltz" in the title. Those stories include this version of the Epyon. This is why the box says "Endless Waltz". It's also why other MG Wing kits have been labeled as "Endless Waltz" versions even if they didn't appear in the EW anime. The MG Epyon is not the same design as the TV version. It's been redesigned. By Katoki. For EW side-stories.

Did you notice the thingats [places that indicate that they'l change something and re-release] on the plate around the beam sword handle and the battery pack charger thing that goes on the hip? EPYON WHITE VERSION?

@shadowblack1987 I didn't mean to suggest you were lacking basic powers of observation. Good on you for building some kits. My point was that it seems like people can spot the difference between the HG and MG pretty easily. They say the MG looks "better" or something, if they're not prepared to elaborate. If they're the same, why does one look "better" than the other? Because they're not: the MG has been redesigned by Katoki. (hence all the "Katoki" talk in the video.)

in the OVA Tallgeese 3 was the replacement of the Epyon because it was destroyed if my memory serves me right

Looks nice with all the new gimmicks, but kind of saddened by it not having jointed fingers like the MG Zaku v2 series of kits.

@shadowblack1987 Well for starters, you -can- see a difference, right? Most people seem to prefer the look of the MG over the look of the HG. This was no accident, and it's not because they didn't know how to make model kits way back in 1996. It's the result of conscious choices by the respective designers. That giant chest on the HG? That's a signature piece of Okawara design right there. The more overt changes to the design are mostly in the size and shape of the chest, shoulders, and wings.

@MeisterStyx Thanks for letting me know. For a while, I thought there really is a PG Optimus Prime. That seems really interesting, because its head-body proportion is not as malproportioned as those in the Gundam 00 line. The gundams in Gundam 00 have got long legs but very small heads. :(

i never knew it was a creature rather than an armor... 1 win for that the refine EW, great photography, the double dragon head... 2nd win a priceless pose on the other side, another win and just for 4800, win win win!!! which is the same as many other new MGS, especially it makes my regreted for buying the MGHD zeta 2.0 :(

@shadowblack1987 No. Okawara designed the Epyon and all the Gundams from the TV show. Katoki designed -this version- of the Epyon, the one that appears in the Endless Waltz manga and in MG form, just as he redesigned the other Gundams for Endless Waltz. This is not the Epyon from the TV show (which had just one season) - as with the other Endless Waltz Gundams it's supposed to be the same machine, but it's a different design, a different representation of it.

I always liked the concept of the Epyon's transformation but I think the execution leaves a lot to be desired, even on the MG version. The problem is that the transformation does nothing to hide or disguise the robot's chest and head. It looks alright if you view it from a high angle, but from a low angle you get the full "legs bent backwards" effect and it just looks dumb. Since they were redesigning the MS they had the opportunity to address this, and they didn't.

The kits of gun-dam are heavy or light? why do I ask you may say, well cause my sister saw some kits of gundams and they where very cheap but she told me that it was light so maybe was a knockoff. oh and another question if the Gundam is already build can it be dissemble or it will be stock like that? 8:15 I just completed the EW Wing, and not only was it fun to build, but it just felt practical. The Gatling shoulders and the energy packs made perfect sense. I hope you get it.

Is it just me or are the proportions a little funny? What sticks out to me the most is that the center jewel does not jut out the furthest of all the chest geometry. Oh well, still looks like a great kit.

@ItsVince72592 Going for a TV look with this thing seems like a losing battle. I think trying to enjoy it as-is is the sane approach, trying to fit it into the TV mould would just make me crazy. But then, I'm not even sure the MG Wing Gundam is a suitable kit for building a TV-style Wing Gundam. :)

GOt a question... Epyon was in the Gundam wing series no question there, but, Why does the box has it labeled it's from Gundam Wing Endless waltz? It didn't show up in Endless waltz and if it did, it's design would've been changed like the 5 gundams in it.... o.O Why It's labeled as it's from Endless waltz?
