Bollywood audience hasn't seen real indian made cinema until bahubali whereas Telugu people enjoyed epics like Mayabazar (1954) which could've become the first biggest pan-indian movie if it could've managed to get a nationwide release. Telugu cinema was heavily inspired by epic action adventures like Mayabazar and Paatala bhairavi.
