Depends … a lot of politics often goes into selection of a movie, last time Sardar Udham was robbed because it might ‘hurt the sentiments of the British’
@mcramu62092 жыл бұрын
If no politics and racism, this movie should get Oscar. NTR as Bheem has different shades of emotions in his character. He is pure like water, straight, innocent, fun, cute romance, protector ,helpful, bromance, emotional and furious. NTR is so natural and intense actor. He is the soul of the movie. Where's story and bgm elevates Ram character.
@vasudhasharma55322 жыл бұрын
@@mcramu6209 silverrahul’s point is also true… if I’m not wrong… no marvel movie has won big in Oscars (maybe one award here and there at max). I think they will put RRR in that same category. In comparison Sardar Udham was the genre that usually wins… but bloody ‘sentiments’ of the people who didn’t think twice before colonising. 🙄

Great Review! :). I absolutely Love this Movie! 🔥🌊. RRR is the G-O-A-T of this Year perhaps of all time!. Yeah I am obsessed with this Gem! 🔥🌊💯. Never Did I think that 3 Hours would feel so short and I just wanted More. I need a RRR 2 in my Life. This Movie has absolutely blown up on Film Twitter. This has set the Bar too high for every action Movie I'm Gonna watch. It's Ruined Marvel for me Honestly. This Director needs to Work with Marvel or DC!. The Hype is only getting Bigger and Theatres are getting it back into theatres just cause of the Crazy Demand also came across an article saying that there is a possibility of having a Forever Yearly or Monthly showing of RRR so basically this is becoming or has already become a Cult Classic!. RRR is a Epic Classic that is going to be remembered for ages! 💯.

Do watch the Historical drama “Tanaji”.. good and fun action sequences, based on Maratha King Shivaji’s very brave legendary Army “General”. Ajay Devgun as Tanaji and Saif Ali Khan as the opponent, I forgot the historical person portrayed by Saif , but a really excellent performance in a negative role. Shivaji was famous for his War Tactics and maybe credited with the concept of “Guerilla Warfare” as a concept, at least in Indian History. Very entertaining movie.

Nice review! This movie is designed to entertain and it delivers. You can also watch "Sardar Udham", It's a biopic set in colonial times. It will show case a completely different side of Indian movie making. It's a slower burn. However, its final act is harrowing and exposes the atrocities of British Raj. My other recommendations will be: 1. Lunch Box 2. Kumbalangi Nights (Best introduction to slice of life/realistic malayalam movie industry) 3. Jallikattu (An allegorical telling of humanity's descent into its primal roots. It's truly an unique experience) 4. Court (a 2014 Marathi film, A dark comedy and a satire on the justice system) 5. Ship of Theseus (There is Indian cinema before this movie and there is the one after this. A ground breaking movie and truly thought provoking) 6. 3 Idiots (The best of comedy musicals ever made out of bollywood. It's Universally loved and is a critique of Indian education system) 7. Bajirao Mastani (An Epic historical drama) 8. Tumbbad (A thriller with fantasy/horror elements. It exposes the nature of greed with an unique story and has great cinematography) 9. Dangal (The highest grossing Indian movie ever, it's a sports biopic about two female wrestlers who broke through all cultural barriers with the help of their father. One of the best sports movies to come out India) 10. Haider (Set in the backdrop of Kashmir, one of the best adaptations of Hamlet ever made) 11. Newton (A dark comedy and a satire on the fickle nature of elections and democracy) 12. Aligarh (Based on true story of a gay professor and his struggles) 13. Masaan (One of the finest depictions of pain & perils faced by people in modern India) 14. Queen (A coming to age story of a conservative indian girl dumped before her marriage. It's a vibrant and a refreshing take on feminism) 15. The Great Indian Kitchen (This movie frustrates one for all the right reasons. A brilliant depiction of various loud & subtle ways in which patriarchy plagues our society) And Finally, 16. Gangs of Wasseypur (A two part crime epic. In the leagues of "the godfather" and "goodfellas". The movie recieved praise from Martin Scorcese)

The base. For all indian stories were our serveral thousand years old fiction or fairy tale like stories comprising nine emotions. They were knit within the frame work of emotions, betrayal, anger, the hero time travels not only on Earth, he even travels in other planets, heavens, hell and several strange places in the cosmos. He even combats with strange cosmic creatures. If the movie is not within the mentioned framework and if it is a less than 3 hour monotonous film, the director will be cursed. Both Ram and Bheem are historical figures as depicted in movies but they are also inspired from mythological characteristics of Shri Rama (from Ramayana) and Mighty Bheem (from Mahabharat) that's the reason why Bheema can lift motorcycle because mythological Bheema can crush mountains and 🐘 with his single punch. And Rama dressed liked that statue (idol from where he gets his 🏹) of mythological Rama. You should read the lyrics of song playing in background music in last forest battle. That score describes the characteristics of both mythological figures.

Not all Indian films are epic, over the top, historic and high budget busters.... well, that's what's gaining the high amount of recognition world wide but I'd like you to check some grounded stuff from the southern and the North Indian cinema as well. They're not necessarily bollywood but here are some suggestions from a few directors and Actors where you can start from 1. Films of Anurag Kashyap (Gangs of Wasseypur part 1,2) 2. Shoojith Sircar's "Sardar Udham" (Got rejected for an oscar submission due to political reasons of how the film potrays against someone but it's very dumb of them to cancel on those aspects since we have films like Schindlers' list) 3. Lokesh Kanagaraj's Kaithi and Vikram.... (A universe of it's own) 4. Hey Ram by Kamal Haasan ( Like literally, he wrote, acted, directed, produced and is also a dance, make up artist, choreographer, Technician, singer and a lot of other things you can explore) 5. And for nice romantic films that hollywood might not have ever done or seen is a film called 96 by Vijay sethupathi and Trisha

Watch PUSHPA, watch it in it's original telugu language itself and don't go for dubbed versions. Checkout the trailer and songs before watching the movie. It's not as big as RRR but a good movie.

A new crime Universe is being built with top heroes from another Southern Film Industry. The first in that movie universe is "Kaithi" starring Kartik. The next movie in that universe with the legendary Kamal Hasan leading it is "Vikram" with two other top stars Vijay Sethupati and Faahad Faasil and last but not least Surya. Each of these leading men are like the RRR stars but in a different Indian language. So for Indian audiences this is a starganza at all these characters playing different roles in well shot crime universe. Watch Kaithi first and then watch Vikram in that order.

I recommend you the 2010 tamil movie Raavanan. It is based on the true story of an historical war Ramayanam. I won't say it is an entertainer or some massive movie like bahubali and rrrr but.... but I guarantee you when the movie ends you will probably want to make a video about it.

Indian cinema should be where anime and video game movies get made. They're so good at the over-the-top action without losing the dramatic, sincere moments.

Of course, happy to support great movies no matter where they come from 😁 I nearly cringe doing this, but actually one of the first videos I did on my channel was about the newer planet of the apes trilogy! I should revisit them in a new video since it’s been so long though 😜 Thanks for watching and supporting!
