I am tamilian but watched this movie in the US with my family in Telugu ( with English subtitles). This movie is an experience, emotion. No words to express our feelings. Rajamouli sir has taken Indian cinema to the next level. Every scene, every dialogue, every action sequence everything is designed, planned & executed so professionally & perfectly. Amazing sound track, screen play, acting, lighting, photography & what not. Patriotic as well. Amazing acting by lead heroes & all. God bless all the people behind this movie. I just saw this movie in France and I loved it, I'm not used to movies like this, it was so much better than most of the crap Hollywood has been releasing for years, and more ambitious than most of the French cinema too. My husband and I watched “RRR” over a 3 day period. My husband didn’t want to watch the 3 hour movie in one go. Since he’s never watched any current movies made in other countries, he didn’t know what to expect. “RRR” was explosive from the beginning to the end. The two heros were like some of the comic book superhero characters I used to read when I was a kid. I knew I was going to love it, but it far exceeded my expectations. My husband enjoyed it as well & perhaps I can get him to watch more movies from other countries.

We live in a forest in the United States. We have been following Netflix since it first came out. I saw that RRR was just came up on Netflix. Netflix doesn’t have a trailer, so I went over to KZbin to watch the trailer. I was sold. It’s just my kind of movie, plus we got a little bit of the history of India at the time. I must say that it was quite awful how badly the Indians were treated in their own country. It reminded me of the horrors instigated by my own country in history, and still continuing, unfortunately.

As an American Hindu Vaishnava who watched this movie on my friend, an American Hindu Shakti worshipper's recommendation, this movie became my favorite movie of all time, as it is his. No other movie has inspired within us this much love for God, Hinduism and Indian culture. From the little girl doing Henna with the peacocks feather while singing that song, to the primordial natures of the main characters, the sense of deeply rooted unity held by their culture. And when Rama started quoting the Bhagavad Gita (chills), and of course later when he became the embodiment of the God Rama Himself (which was masterfully done, on both his and Bheems part. Rama's character introduction and development are both among the strongest I've ever seen. And the bond between him and Bheem being that intimate without ever even hinting at homosexuality is an uncommon breath of fresh air honoring the limitless nature of love in ANY form. Their brotherly love for each other was transcendent and goated. The movie did everything to perfection, from the overt to the subtle and the soundtrack just strikes the inner heart in profound ways. Raamam Bheemam is now in my Devotionals playlist. Thank you to everyone responsible for this movie. May India soon recover enough from the effects of the British empire that they can have a cultural revolution that will allow many more creations like this to flood the world. And May Sanatana Dharma continue to inspire them and the many other's they touch.

Fantastic movie, I loved it, I'm Canadian and my boss is originally from Fiji and she recommended it to me. Beautifully shot, great cast, well acted. I had it set so the British were speaking English and the Indians were speaking Hindi with subtitles for the full, authentic experience. I loved the dance scene and the boy's rescue, and the final fight gave me Rambo vibes.

If you'd like, check out his bahubali 1 and 2. They are much bigger than rrr. But they do get pretty wonky and many scenes are very illogical, keep it in mind.

I say 'modern' because it once made world-class cinema, but that was 60-70 years ago. Now it is all the same churned-out populist melodrama with bad acting, & lame scripts. Pity.
