Well in one of the interviews rajamouli mentioned about them wanting to get as many shots as possible with miniature and on camera and merge with CGI rather than just doing it entirely on CGI. You shld watch the interview of ssr with Sandeep reddy vanga but unfortunately with subtitles as it’s in Telugu, but it’s like a class in cinema making.

Lol 1 crore? That's a joke, a crore is less than 150 grand. They had western companies make the miniatures and do CGI. For that youd be lucky if you get 1 or 2 miniatures and no CGI. SSR had mentioned at some points they were burning through on average of 80 Lakhs each day to keep the production running

But Daksh both have their own issues..... I also want but see, Veer Zaara is Yrf's product and it's nearly impossible for a youtuber to react to their services without getting copyright and extreme cuts. There is only one youtuber 'Diyu Kikookie Srkian', she has got the official permission to react on any music video or scene involving Yrf. And Chennai Express is so good but the language differences will ruin the atmosphere coz most of the comic scenes involve the beauty of delivery of dialects. So, let's hope 💝

I think the CGI looks perfectly fine. But to this day the wirework in India is awful. It instantly takes the immersion out. The physics just look incredibly messed up. You know even in Superhero movies where they can do anything, physics still sort of feel involved. Whereas you look the birdge scene here, when they jump from their bike/horses it looks like they're flying, physics seem totally off. Wrong momentum, gravity, inertia... More work needs to be put into when actors transition into wirework

RRR is a good film. I dont like OTT action and stupid silly action but somehow SSR managed to pull this film through in a way that I did not feel distracted in this film. As an example Bahubali was also good except the scene where they use trees to catapult humans into the castle, until that scene I was willing to ignore all that I had seen before and enjoy it all but after that scene I simply lost respect. In recent times if there is a real masterpiece that has come out of India, its Andhadhun. A real original story. Then there were films like Dhaakad and Attack which failed miserably in India which if made in English language would have done well globally. Before this there was Go Goa Gone which again if it had been made in English would have done well globally. Rocky Handsome had the best knife fight sequence ever filmed in the world and it failed in India but if it had been made in English it would have done well globally. Neerja is another film which would have done very well globally if it were to be made in English. Indian tastes are different and global tastes are different and its good to see RRR being a film which is liked by both but I still have not seen a proper crossover film or global film made by an Indian yet. There are tons of films in India which did not do so well but if instead of Indian languages those same producers had dreamt bigger and made those films in In English the exact same films would have done well globally.

In Taj Bengal, may be 16-19 years ago, I met Saif Ali Khan with a few of his fellows and bought a lot of drinks for them and talked to them for many hours and discussed similar things about films and tried to give him a few script ideas like the ones I talk about here. He (Saif Ali Khan) said that such scripts do not do well in Indian markets and rejected them. I am happy at least now with scripts like Dhaakad, Attack and Andadhun people are trying to take on concepts that can go global, except they are doing it wrong, such films are not meant to be made in any Indian language but are meant to be made in English and released globally. On a side note during the same stay there was also Indian cricket team staying in the same hotel to go to Bangladesh so I got to drink with John Wright who was coach at that time. I also managed to meet and talk to many of the team members in the hotel lobby including a couple of you know who :-) while they were waiting for their team bus and while I was waiting for my driver.
