honestly I like that idea - a castle designed to still be a good bit difficult, but able to be sped through by a skilled enough player like a dkc level. I could imagine the Cape Feather being the powerup of choice, letting those who have enough of a grasp on it glide through the level while still dealing with controlling it properly and managing the level hazards themselves. also, going off of mario world bosses, any of the koopalings that just casually walk up walls (I think Ludwig and Roy do that, maybe also Morton) seem like the best fits outside of king koopa himself.
