Great video! Quick question though. It was my understanding that peripheral lesions cause the following: 1) unidirectional horizontal-torsional nystagmus that increases in the direction of the fast fase (just like mentioned in the video) 2) AND also an ABNORMAL head impulse test with head rotation to the affected side 3) Without skew deviation (ALSO mentioned in the video) the video mentions that a positive head impulse test suggests a Central vestibular lesion while a negative head impulse tests points to a peripheral lesion. Is this "positive head impulse test" meaning a normal and "negative head impulse test" abnormal findings?? Thanks!
