I would love a new combat style, something to do with darkness or anima. It would be weak and strong to all combat styles depending on the situation. Like you could do an attack from far and then jump to the player/boss for a different attack and so much more

Excellent tips as usual! The discord server looks good and tysm for tips about surviving pk'ers. I was recently pk'd and lost 171 mil as I stupidly took my nox staff, lotd, blood ammy, full armour, x5 scrimshaws with me. I never quite know what and tend to panic, so I'll try your methods. :)

If I could change ONE thing if rs3, I would make ashdale usefull, as in, turn it into a low level hub, so then we would have ashdale for low levels, menaphos for mid levels and priff for high levels. I've always like the idea of ashdale being our characters "home island" and I just wish they would have expanded with it, gave the shadow over ashdale quest some actual meaning not have it be just some other throw away quest. But they never did, they never did.

If i could change one thing I would reward the social aspect of the game way more. Increased xp rates/ rewards for doing something together rather than punishing players (like having a skilling or slaying spot). I see so much potential, and the social aspect was honestly the reason i started playing 10 years ago. Now people just AFK if they don´t boss which is sad.

Even though there are a lot of possible things to change in RS3 there has always been one thing I've wanted in the game, a healer/cleric class. I love group pvm or group pvp and in most games, I'm one of the weird ones that likes being the cleric. We have melee, range, and mage, but we don't have a true support class. The change in how things work would be awesome and would allow for bigger boss fights, epic clan wars and more. It won't do much in solo combat but would shine in group activities. There are so many different ways of doing this and I for one would love it.

I would revert PvM drops to the old style, where all the standard drops were just enough to cover your costs for that say hour of bossing and the big income is from the big rare drops. That provided a healthy economy back in 2009.

RS3 is a fantastic game that has withstood the test of time. It has set a standard for MMO's and adopted aspects that it lacked originally. It stands by the community to improve and satisfy, while maintaining the struggle that we all love. That being said, I think it's very frustrating for the people who have played long enough and created multiple accounts. I believe it would be a simple solution to have one central login and have the ability to create multiple characters. That would be the only thing I would change after player for almost 11 years

The 1 thing i would love to see changed is the actionbar/keybinding system. With high tier pvm its a giant hassel dealing with multiple keybinds to do 1 single task which goes with the fact if you dont pay to unlock them its a bigger pain having to remap them time and time again for a different boss. What i want to see changed would be a dual slot action bar icon for a 1h/sheild swap or allowing the use of 2 slots under 1 key bind. Having to click 3 times or press a button 3 times to change to 1h, shield, and res, and then another to go back to 2h is just excessive and if not done right can actually kill you, I.E Telos hold still at high enrage. Being able to press 1 key to go from 2h to dual would be amazing and would save alot of action bar space.P.S had no freaking clue you could convert resets, i have so many dailys but no week or months. Only thing i knew of that converted was proteans. Life saver!

The one thing I would change is customizable UI scaling. playing the game on a larger screen makes text almost impossible to read. I just wanna be able to relax on my couch and and play RS on my tv. Also, for the people lucky enough to have large 4K monitors, I don’t want my fellow scapers to go blind trying to decipher what things say! 😝 Rsn:Slledryn

If I could change one thing I would like Slayer to return back to its roots of needing a specific item to slay a creature, and diversifying those. Most monsters now have a weakness on the combat triangle sure, but you will most likely just use your same exact gear on every task and so every task feels the same.

What i would add is more gear diversity like we had pre-eoc in the sense that weapons should have more unique affects, dps values and overall usefulness separate from their tier stats. Right now there’s only one thing that’s important and that’s the tier of the item that decides everything whereas earlier weapons and armour of different tiers would have varying affects and stats that made them useful in different scenarios

If I could change one thing about Rs3 it would be the grand exchange. I would make it where it had more slots to sell items. I think we all can say we hoard drops for quit sometime after bossing or chasing drops so we can cash out all at once. I usually have all my space full in my inventory so the grand exchange should have the same amount of slots as your backpack.

I would add a Chompy quest to the game called “the chompy fights back” it will be about the chompys fighting the ogres so they wont be hunted again... at the end of the quest there will be a chompy boss that you need to kill. After the quest is complete, you will get a baby chompy pair that you can breed at player owned farms... the chompy boss at the end of the quest will be unlocked as permanent content for people to go back and kill for the chompy scythe, chompy longbow, chompy staff and the almighty chompy pet!

If I could change one thing I would change the way how drops from bosses reward you, for example if you reached 500kc you would have a percentage increase like 2% increase chance in receiving a drop, and 1000 KC would be 2% more chance stacking over... Mostly the way the luck mechanic in the game is ..

I'd definitely increase the tickrate of the game, the amount of time between each action is registered is incredibly long. Having a higher tickrate would make certain bosses nicer to kill. Such as Rax to avoid the cleave. One downside is that it could make on--tick resonancing a lot harder.

I'd love to change summoning a little bit. If I could, I'd increase the resource limit on summoning skill plot at clan citadels cuz it seems way too limited compared to all the other citadel skilling plots. This would effectively decrease the cost & time to achieve 99 summoning. I'd also rework prayer a little bit too to help speed up higher lvl prayer skilling.

First of all, great video ! About your question, i think the biggest change would be the tick system. Of course some mechanics would have to be changed to avoid exploits, but the tick system is the BIGGEST turn off about this game. It makes the combat way more laggy and delayed, and that turns new people off the game in my opinion..

The lucyest I ever was in RuneScape: I hired some pkers to protect me while I mined in the wildy and in just a few weeks this turned into a 500 man pking clan that was so much fun until the wildy got nerfed and we all went our different ways. Wyverns rulled!

Tip for next vid: rangers who build adren on dummies- make sure to switch bolts for that short time so your ruby bolts don’t proc thus hurting your HP! Then switch bolts back after full adrenaline. :)

Just as I have recently come back to the game I would change the all chat. I'd say the community but it's fine, I mean more like people talking in game about nonsense and just having fun with it. For example when mining just a little chit chat then making that one random friend you'd always say hi too. As I've come back to rs3, don't seem to have that anymore but still LOVING the game

One thing I would change in RS3 is remove dailies/change dailies to be weeklies and alter exp rates to scale accordingly

There' s probably things that i would like to change and first of all bank rework with placeholders. And the second one are the stonespirits as boss drop, really hate to get 80k rax drops or 7 times stonespirits in a row at vindicta

I'd change droptables for making bossing not overpowered money. Now of course i understand high level pvm should yield high level profit, however if you can generate more ressources in an hour of bossing rather than doing the respective skill(s), then that is clearly broken and i'd love to change it (make it that signature drops boost gp/hr, not destroying the economy with ressource overflow)

If I could change one thing it would be remove EOC and reduce damage back down into the Osrs method. It's the one thing I miss about OSRS.

I would add the option to move with wasd, with the eoc combat system they would just feel so much better, feels so awkward binding abilities on the razer naga since movement and abilities are all on one hand, would help people adjust easier from other mmos like WoW

I would change the RNG system for rare boss drops to a threshold system, similar to the boss pet drops except it resets when you get a rare drop. Seems much more fair for people like me who never get lucky at any bosses lol.

its nice u want to hear about everybody's opinion i have my lists and when i plan on a skill; runescape seem to update it like they have looked at my plans and update it my list would be to use magic to enchant weapons, to have the same cooldown click in a tree as the have on a rock, to use emotes like you can on fortnite, to have a code server so ppl can code their characters, to also havers3 on mobile. it dose'nt seem much but runescape have done some things that was on my wish list like mining and smith beta and osrs mobile

idk if you've already done a tip like this, but some people dont know how to fully afk at abyssals lvling a lance, aggresion pots ovls +penance aura, auto retaliate auto trigger thresh's/ultimates (meteor) penance is key for full afk, only needa recheck every 6mins for aggresion/ovl pot, could be a tip EDIT: also cleave hurricane quake meteor front of bar, basics after

(Kind of a different take on the question) I wish minigames were more popular, or as popular as they used to be. It was always fun being able to get on and just throw down for an hour or 2 at FoG or clan wars without having to worry about player count

I wouldn't change anything but I would do a complete and total reset every 5 years, all accounts deleted... well, not login info or membership or loyalty points or anything like that but upon logging in you would be lvl 3 again in taverly... but so would everyone... then out of the 1st 100,000 returning logins 10% or so will randomly get a rare like a santa hat or party hat or hween mask... but only returning logins with like 5+ hours playtime...

I know it may sound a little bit frequent but if i could change something definitely would be removing the MTX in any kind of advantage the players can get by just buying some Bonds, for example like the Fallen Stars, Lamps, Proteans, etc. I know Jagex has to make profit from these things but i wish only with the cosmetics and animations would be enough :(

If I could change 1 thing about rs3 it would definitely be the POH, it is waaaaay too much untapped potential in the game that osrs just exposed the surface of and is already one of the most useful pieces of content they have Im not saying steal their POH updates and add them here, i want the short sighted updates added to the game to be reevaluated and redistributed to dead parts of the game like POH, even if it means damaging the game short term. osrs nerfed their snake money and its OP helmet drop, because they were broken, despite the backlash, yet we change a single thing no matter how small it is Devolved to game integrity rant but yea, make POH great -again- for once

I would change how the Grand Exchange is updated so it accurately reflects market price of items in real time rather than Jagex having to update manually infrequently traded items. Would make flipping and earning gp that way much more reliable.

The biggest thing I'd change is the start of the game. Our player base is a little stagnant and it would be good for the game to get new players into the game. The tutorial of the game and first hours of the game are not friendly to new players. The world is too large, the tutorial is too vague, and players end the tutorial with absolutely no idea what comes next. With mobile coming out, it would be great if we reinvigorated the F2P and early P2P game feel to encourage, and retain, new players.

If i could change one thing about Runescape I would remove Treasure Hunter, It's something many players dislike and I feel like the game can never flourish again as long as it stays in the game. Ever since they added it it's been getting more and more invasive. This of course will be bad for short term profit but it will definitely be better for the health of the game in the long term.

I would make the penalties for lurers and scammers much harsher than the current global mute they have, basically i would make them perma ultimate ironman mode with no drops if killed + perma chat block as well as no access to quick chat. People like that, no matter how admirable their effort and organisation is are helping kill the player base of the game. Ofc there should be a strong evidence provided for this to take effect.

Agreed, as long as they've been talking bout bank rework they should be ashamed of themselves. Jamflex talked about mining/smithing rework since 09 then rolled out purity garbage.
