I grew up to RSA back in NZ, now residing in Australia, still I play this to my children to show our beautiful culture and the music we Samoans and Polynesian in general are capable off. The tune of this song was originated from a song by a Mexican group called Los Bukis and it was sung by their lead singer name Marco Antonio Solis " a very famous singer went solo in the early 1990s". This song is in Spanish and it top the Latin Billboard in 1989 and Los Bukis won the Best Single Of The Year in Latin Grammy...The RSA Band took the tune and add their own Samoan lyrics to it.
