Listening to Samoan songs refresh my Samoan language. Left American Samoa in 1976 isolated from Samoan community till a yr or so ago, stumbled on Samoan u-tubes listening to took me awhile to understand some of the words what they meant in the English language. Returned back to American Samoa for the first time in 2018 didn't even know where our land was😮 good thing my brother and sister accompanied me on that trip. They been back and forth before but me I joined the military and that's where I spent most of my life till I retired in 2000.

She then attended TTC in Malifa before they got married and moved to New Zealand. You can verify all this info with Fafo & Tumua or their children. Taute/Tumua’s family used to live in Toomatagi/Maagiagi at the time. It brings back So many wonderful memories with her and her family whenever I hear this classic.
