NIO has done something that BYD and others need to learn. They have put the charging port at the Left Rear assuring the least hassle for NIO cars around the world using the TESLA Supercharger network. In terms of North America they should plan on using the TESLA socket and plug as FORD and others have announced they are going to do. In Europe of course it will remain CCS2. In fact NIO and other Chinese brands should adopt the TESLA charging socket and system for Latin America too.
