Regarding the elevator girls: Airheads gotta airhead, no matter which side of the tracks they come from.
@lilbohbeat57854 жыл бұрын
Idk... speaking from experience - the type of entitled airheads I grew up around often learned hard lessons from pissing off people with little to lose. I personally feel like this type of behaviour is more accepted in more affluent circles. Pissing off the wrong guy, in the wrong trailer park can sometimes mean facing enough of the right kind of consequences to seriously change a person. I feel like we saw more of that in our poorer neighbourhood than the better-off kids growing up, anyway.
@gentarofourze4 жыл бұрын
@@lilbohbeat5785 After I started college I became of the mindset, the only difference between a rich spoiled person and someone who plays the welfare benefit system is where the money comes from, its getting worse here in the UK students trash properties, do both types of human bodily waste functions on strangers lawns/back gardens, take drugs, get so drunk they can't even stand, abusive and even violent to strangers especially when confronted over their bad behaviour and generally just spoiled and think they are better than everyone else. Yet these Kevins and Karens think they are better than the poor ones simply because they don't claim welfare, I once argued with a guy who claimed homelessness and unemployment was fake as everyone can get a job and a home same day, if they only earn £100 a week after taxes then they are lazy and should work harder and/or find a better job they didn't realise that the £100 from wages often barely if it even did cover rent before food, travel, clothing, utilities etc are even brought into account, this guy was saying if you didn't work you should get nothing, as if the welfare system didn't exist everyone would work. The scum who were poor weren't much different just claimed they were unable to work and often got more than a worker but still weren't happy and wanted more and were basically kevins and karens as well even trying to steal/shame someone who was also on welfare but got next to nothing. As I say scum is scum no matter their background.

You don't have to be rich to be spoiled in the 21st century. And 3.) I have seen first hand these types of people among blue collar and low income housing, some of them definitely had less than I at the time. Remember respect is earned not given. I grew up in a trailer park as well, but I had good and bad neighbors. In my experience money has no effect on how much respect a person gives ( for people and property). There are disrespectful people in every kind of category that you can imagine, just like there are respectful people in all those same categories. I'm not saying that everyone in a trailer park is disrespectful, or anything. While growing up I can remember tons of people in the trailer park that I lived in who were not only respectful, but also kind, and generous, but that doesn't mean that they all were.

Tbh, my dad told me this story once where he said, he was going to need to stay overnight at work. Now, at his work place (he's a company driver) they do give you your own rooms for breaks and sometimes, on rare occasions, workers would go there to either sleep (so they don't need to go home and be early on their next day of work), and sometimes even take care of their personal hygiene, this was one of those occasions. My dad usually keeps a razor at his room in one of these closets (with his name on it) and for sometime he noticed that his razor wouldn't be in the place he left it. My dad figured out that one of his coworkers was using his razor. When he brought it up to his coworkers, obviously no one would fess up, so for his plan of revenge: My dad keeps a lot of his own tools at home, he likes to help out with the family to fix stuff and sometimes, he uses some of those tools to carve (that's where I learned my arts), he has tools that can carve wood, cement, and metal. So, he took his razor that he leaves at work, took out the blade, carved a piece of metal from *a knife in our kitchen* to make sure it was the right size as the blade, put the knife blade back in the razor and placed it back in his closet at work. On the next day he arrived at work, he heard one of his coworkers scream. It turns out that this particular worker was the one using my dad's razor and ended up cutting himself in the face (note that, the reason he used the kitchen knife was because; we didn't use it anymore cuz it was rusty and chipped). So, let's just say, *nobody messed with any of my dad's stuff ever again*

1:58 No no. Moral of the story, be nice to the people you need help from. Seriously does this woman think screaming at these people is going to make them more inclined to help her? Because if so, I gotta know if the reverse applies - if someone is screaming at her will she go: "Oh I see, now that you are screeching at me, I can see the importance of this situation. Of course, I'll gladly help you". On the other hand, maybe screeching is part of the Karen Secret Language™ and this is how they find their own kind, like speaking only in Morse code in hopes that someone knows Morse and will answer, and definitely just as absurd. I think what I'm saying is... whenever you meet a Karen, just start beeping with some device in Morse code and when she can't answer to what you're saying, start getting more and more angry, and since you are using Morse code beeps to verbally communicate, make your dots, dashes and even wait between each of them, shorter. The more she gets confused, the quicker you beep, eventually reaching the point of no return in which you are so angry you are tapping too quick even for someone who does know Morse code to understand, which causes her to be even less capable of understanding you, making you even angrier and quicker.

Got a razor story of my own. I was in the Navy and had a habit of using 2 razors. One for my face and one for down south, I'm a guy btw. I had a system to remember which blade was which: face razor was in the blade holder with other blades while the other razor was on its own. One day I left my razors on my rack while I changed out of my shower clothes about 6 feet away when this guy comes up and takes the lone razor. He saw me watching him, but he didn't say anything and just walked away. If he had asked for a blade I would've given one to him, but instead I formed an evil plan. We had just gotten back from a port call when this happened so I waited a week. Thank god above for the golden opportunity I got. I saw him sitting with 3 of his closest friends on the ship, so I talked to someone I knew nearby. Me, "Dude I just got back from medical." Buddy, "Why were you at medical?" Me, "I've been having a lot of pain when I use the restroom and my crotch has been burning." Buddy was surprised and the razor thief was very quiet. "The Doc said I got the Clap. Good thing I lost the razor I use on my junk." The razor thief was completely pale and had a horrified look on his face. He got up and bolted down to medical. I explained to his friends what had happened, and we called him clap face for a couple weeks.

The story of the two girls and the elevator: they are definitely rich girls. Poor kids in university tend to be more respectful and higher achieving in their classes (or at least put in a LOT of effort) because they KNOW the struggles they (and possibly their families) have gone through to get them there. I, myself, grew up poor and went to university with a full ride through government assistance and other hardship scholarships (the first time, second time all loans). You bet your a** I worked hard to maintain my grades and get along with my fellow students and dorm-mates. Rich kids don't have the same appreciation.

The guy at In-n-Out saw what the ahole did and how OP reacted to it. Seeing that kind of thing everyday teaches them how to deal with jerks in a way that wont get them in trouble. Have a story similar to the first one except my aunt was the Karen. She had called their internet provider because sometimes was wrong with the billing. She got someone who had an accent and it definitely sounded like English was not their first language. They didn't understand that well of what my aunt was saying and they didn't know what to do. And my aunt was getting angrier. She kept saying things like, "that's why you foreigners shouldn't be taking these jobs" and, "I need an American to serve me". She did end up getting another person and they sorted out their billing problems. But that other lady on the phone didn't deserve what my aunt did to her.

Oh those words, I remember hearing those words: I was working for an escalations team that provided technical support for a certain computer peripheral company that you likely have heard of. For this particular product line we had agents stationed all around the world, our lower level of support was in the Philippians, our Engineers where based in California and I was sitting in Nova Scotia, Canada myself. To add an extra layer of poetic irony to this story, this company is based out of Switzerland. One day I received a call from an irate gentleman who clearly had bullied his way through our lower levels of support. This individual had none of the required paperwork in our system, and the first thing he said to me was 'You sound British and all, but I want to speak to an American.' This rubbed me the wrong way and, as anyone in technical support can tell you... when you rub the agent in the wrong way, they will '*B******* Operator From Hell' you! I couldn't just hang up on this individual but I knew very well I would be 'just doing my job' if I requested they work with me to properly document and likely correct the issue. With the uttermost politeness in my voice, cause it angered them off even more, I informed this individual that I would need to first troubleshoot their issue before I could escalate it further. Knowing they would out right refuse, and if they let me fix the problem it would still be a win for me, I simply repeated this request over and over. We call it a broken record, and it is actually an escalation technique designed to anger someone to the point they never call back. After a good twenty minutes of refusal, with the irate individual refusing to drop the line or say the magic words I was waiting for, I dropped a hint by stating 'we appear to at an impasse, while I can not escalate you further I will be able to get my manage.' With the customer now on a small hold and went to get someone who was management level, though wasn't my manager, for a simple reason.... He was from Ireland and had the thickest Irish accent I have heard! Alas, they hung up before I could get my manager on the phone... I was really looking forward to the phone being slammed down! So, in closing, we had: A racist American calling about a Swiss product, getting connected to the Philippines, transferred to Canada where they spoke to an Australian, while mistaken them for British, and was about to talk to an Irish manager when they hung up out of frustration. Just knowing how much Globalism annoys racists is just one of the many reasons I approve of it. Added: Feel free to reproduce this story elsewhere, it was very petty of me and I am very proud of it!

This was hilarious, oh my God 😂 My sister used to be a phone operator for a health insurance company. We're Hispanic, but we don't have a stereotypical accent, so sometimes people would ask. Thankfully it was mostly from curiosity rather than bigoted racism, although I'm pretty sure my sister would have laid the Hispanic accent thick just to troll them.

@fangirl30864 жыл бұрын
I got one that happened the other day to me and my grandma. I haven't had the chance to post it on reddit yet. So my little sister's birthday was a few days ago and my grandma and I went last minute shopping for her and to look for patio umbrellas for my grandma. They didn't have any, but we picked up a few more things for my sister and we're on our marry way. Now down the rode from our local Walmart is a massive McDonald's. This McDonald's had a problem with the customers just pulling out in front of traffic, almost causing crashes a lot. It just seems people don't give a flip about other people, they're in a hurry and want out and don't have time for traffic to clear up long enough for them to go. And it just so happened that my grandma and I literally almost ran into one of those people as he narrowly cut through traffic and almost t boned us. Thankfully my grandma noticed this butthole and was able to get past him in time. After having a mini panic attack, we calmed down enough to notice the same car that almost hit us was right behind us. Great. We continue down the rode for a while and there was a part where the speed limit slows down by a lot (from 55 to 30 mph). This pissed the guy off when we slowed down to obey the speed limit. He was swirving back and forth all over the rode, honking and waving his hands around at us. And he started to get closer and closer. My grandma, being the awesome person she can be, slows way down the closer he got. To the point where he was literally at our bumper and we were going 15 in a 35. The guy was furious but my grandma and I were laughing like crazy. We eventually went pass the CVS and he sped into the parking lot. The CVS is right on a corner by two stop lights and my grandma and I went back to normal speed, turning the corner and getting stopped by the light. I look over at the guy and see he's flying towards the CVS drive thru, that is obviously closed off with cation tape that I could see and stops with a screeching halt mere feet from the tape. I saw him throw both hands in the air and I laughed as we pulled away when the light turned green. My grandma laughed as well when I told her what happened and she said "well maybe if you don't drive like a bafoon, bad things wouldn't happen to you."

It might've been how they were raised or that's just their reflection what they think of the people they live with. In my family, we always take our shoes off before entering the house and have been taught that when we go over to someone else's house to take our shoes off as a sign of respect even when they don't ask us to. Luckily not many people ask questions, but I still get them and I give people the same spiel. The point is that they might've learned these kinds of behaviors from their parents or are just like, 'eh. we're in college. we don't care about these people.' and throw their ashes and junk every which way. There are people like that in college who just don't care at all. I wouldn't go as far as say that they're from trailer parks but I would go as far to say that they might be entitled rich kids. EDIT: Wait! You can DO that? That's something that happens?! At McDonald's?

I worked in consumer IT support once, and we had a customer calling in with a router issue, it was a pretty straight forward GUI you just had to click through and make the right choices, there was very little you could do wrong. So I had him factory reset the modem instead of trying to figure out where he was doing it wrong, as that was usually faster. He had to get under his desk with a pin to factory reset it. For reasons I still can't fathom he though it would be smart to click forward before I told him what to click on, resulting in him messing it up again. So I had him factory reset it again and start over. He kept doing it, and every time I noticed he was further ahead than me, I had him reset it, every time he had to crawl under the table to do it. 14 times I had him reset it until he accepted he should click on what I told him instead of whatever he did that made him call in the first time XD
